So, some very unfortunate things have happened in the last 30 years in this country, while the church was asleep in the Light. 1. Homosexuality became "acceptable" ........then it became a civil right........and it has infected even the church's mentality to the point that many will argue that "there is a gay gene", or...>"they are born this way". 2. "Acceptable Homosexuality", led to gay marriage and gay adoption. How did this happen?.... Simple..........The media, over time, continually trains the culture to accept the unacceptable (sexual perversion) by showcasing it as fun and sweet and warm and fuzzy and normal. They trained the culture to embrace it using shows like "queer eye for the straight guy" and "Will and Grace"... and you had music and videos endlessly showing gay sexuality behavior.....saturating the culture. This is 30 yrs , the media has been "raising them up"...."changing how they think".... = the culture. Then you had Fed Court Judges blocking all attempts to roll back the perverts, by legalizing "sodomy" (Texas Supreme Court 2004), and then you have the media continually redefining morality and usurping any type of push back against the onslaught of filthy perverted lifestyle, by labeling morality and truth, as ... "hate speech". At the same time this is going on, for the last 30 yrs, the "church" is being taught to walk in the flesh...... That money and a bigger auditorium is "God's work", while witnessing and holy living went out the window along with Truth. So, a weak church and a brainwashing of the American "Psyche", happened at the same time, for the last 3 decades. See the result? ???? And what do you have now? 2 things. 1.) The USA is now the #1 worldwide exporter of Gay Tolerance, using movies, music, media. So, what does this mean?.... 2.) It means that the last "holy" "christian) nation on earth, (USA) has been remodeled to become the Unholy change agent of the world and now CHEERLEADS the idea of "Gay Tolerance, and Gay Rights" into the entire world, = PROMOTING and accepting perverted sexuality, and deeming it "normal". Putin...Russia's leader, a few years ago said..."what has happened to America.... they have become the land of the sodomites and the home of the perverted"....."where is their CHRISTIANITY"... !!!!! But here is the good part. The last "sign" before Christ returns....is....."So in the days of NOE< so shall the 2nd coming of the Son of man occur".....And what was happening in the "days of Noe (Noah) ??? = Homosexuality had infected the entire human population to the degree that God had to drown them to end it., such was the level of the > GAY perversion. = Welcome to the end times..... But, The opening thread post concluded with the answer. Prayer! Pray without failing, pray that God will stop the abusers, protect the children, and that He will use His many angels as the vehicles for stopping the horror that is their debauchery. The "people" can indeed be turned about to their repentance of their sin against God and against children. They can indeed also be eliminated by God and by His angels, and if given His command to do so eliminated by saints within the laws of each land too. It is necessary to read the word of God as each also prays and thinks on what to do seeking guidance from the comforter and living His command as it is received. Agreed, but I'd like to add something that's found in Acts 19, where Paul starts preaching in Ephesus. He preached the Word and folks got saved and in Acts 19:19 we see that lives were changed when they had that occult book burning. A lot of folks must have converted because by the time you get to Acts 19:24 some of the metal smiths are irate because their idol business was impacted and they started a riot. This example tells me a few things: Christ changes hearts, which will then cause changed behavior. Part of the answer is prayer, but the other part is to preach the gospel in every day life. In most civilizations it was appropriate for girls to marry at the age of puberty which in many cases was 8 or 9 years old... if our society is open to outside marriage sex, then.... well ……... While that isn't acceptable to most of us today we really do need to keep in mind that it was in the past and keep that in mind in how we attack what we consider a problem today....… Not that men should have relations with boys at any age and that is a totally different subject. As for Mohammad, well he was actually following the customs of the time period he lived in.... as much as we can heap onto his destruction of things, this one thing was totally accepted during his lifetime...… even among the Jewish people according to Jewish History....
