Daily Reading 253

If you prefer, you can look up the following verses in your own Bible,  or by whatever means and in whichever version you choose.

John 13:21-38 2 Chronicles 19 Psalm 78:38-55
Audio 5:06 Audio 2:01 Audio 7:12
The above verse addresses are linked to Bible Gateway. That is an easy way to read (or listen to) the Bible verses, and choose your version.  Personally, I prefer written, that way I can go at my own pace, and think about it, before moving on. Nothing wrong with doing either or both. The Bible says faith comes by hearing. See the picture below to get an idea of what to expect if you follow the above links.

Note: The audio will not play the exact verses, it will play the gateway.jpg

When I read this  (2nd Chronicles) it reminded me of the New Testament (Romans 2:11).

Chronicles 19:

Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.”

Romans 2:11-16 King James Version (KJV)

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

9When Jehoshaphat king of Judah returned safely to his palace in Jerusalem, Jehu the seer, the son of Hanani, went out to meet him and said to the king, “Should you help the wicked and love[a] those who hate the Lord? Because of this, the wrath of the Lord is on you.

A reminder of being careful of ungodly alliances.   Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?  2nd Cor. 6:14

Matthew 5:44 King James Version (KJV)

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
