So when you ask if we are to keep his commands, you need to ask yourself who is "his" and which commands are we referring to... Is "his" Yahweh, or is it Jesus..... two different sets of commands.... one promises a good life in the hear and now, and the other eternal life with Jesus.... Just something to ponder..
