"Takes a city" - that is fighting. I am not sure what the current climate of Christian persecution is in your country but even if it is not too bad then you would be prudent to remember this Proverb and what it means anyway. 3 seconds (it really can be just 3 seconds) patience with someone who is persecuting you e.g. Not getting violent when they are insulting you. Keeping a clever and calm spirit when you feel threatened physically - getting time right to get away. Never run from the police - they will catch you. Be honest instead and bring your own pen and paper to have ready. IS BETTER THAN 8 hours in a police cell. That's why being wise and prudent you can stay away from horrid situations - learn your Proverbs and receive God's wisdom by faith. A few other things (there is more): Get a good panic alarm. Learn what you can do legally in self-defence (go to a martial arts school). Get near a camera and hold your hands up in a defensive stance. Use calm, constant Christian music to have on your earphones. Be slow to anger and rule your spirit and you will be stronger than someone who takes over a whole city by force - that is exactly what the Proverb is saying i.e. that powerful.
