The Inquisitions are considered the nightmare of Church History (next to the Salem Witch Trials). In Spain Dominican Monks established the Inquistion where they would inquire if a Muslim or Jew truly converted to Catholicism during the Reconqustia (Catholic reconquest of Spain). Those under suspicion were labeled conversos (Morisco if a Muslim), those who the inquisition believed to have converted to save their skin. The irony is the Inquistors could have you put in a dungeon and go to trial if you did not convert, but they would also put you to trial because you were suspected of converting for less than truly pious and genuine reasons. The term, “you are con/damned if you do and con/damned if you don’t comes from The Spanish Inqusition.

To be brought before The Inqusitor General and the judges, a person must be accused by two neighbors. The process was you are “guilty until proven innocent.” Many nobles and average Catellans could sweepingly remove rivals via the Inquisition.

The epitome of Roman Law is The Inquisition. :o

Roman Catholic church has never and will never be the Body of Christ.

The people may have seeking hearts. but till they leave there they are bound by the false doctrines that are against the Bible.
