It's interesting that I have heard imams say the Jews should have a Temple in Jerusalem. The new king of Saudi Arabia said something similar. That day is coming.

We really are running out of time folks .   I mean we got signs all over the place .   Transgressors coming to the full .    Religoins and secular gathering for UNITY for world peace more and more .     WE do realize WHEN the anti Christ stands right .     IN the latter times of their kingdoms WHEN the transgressors have come to the full.

\And all isee is cities , states , govts , nations all no longer hiding sin , BUT CELEBRATING THE RAINBOW FOR ALL TO SEE .

And we think we got much time left .   WE DONT .     And we see these unity inclusive moves ALL OVER the places  , not only grabbing secular ,  not only grabbing other religions

But grabbing so called christains too,   ALL about UNITY as one for world peace .     LEADING ALL TO THE BEAST who is NIGH TO STAND .

You would think a potentially world-dominating tyrant would draw some conclusion from the Book of Revelation and realise his agenda was a suicide mission such that he would desist. Maybe he does have an inkling but is too far gone in the grip of Satan's power to consider restraining himself. Likewise the masses, how come they don't suspect that prophecy is being fulfilled just as Revelation describes. Maybe there is so much distraction from the world, the flesh and the devil that they desire a vain thing.

Maybe they all are so afraid of death then the judgement they will try to save their flesh by any means possible. 

Maybe they are all going to believe their eyes and think the beast IS God.

True. I don't know which religious banner under which the people will unite but it could be Judaism. That will be the focus of the beast. I was reminded of a bit Judaic dogma recently; Judaism hold the Messiah cannot return to save them unless a copy of Solomon's Temple stands in Jerusalem. They are already looking for the wrong Messiah, and the Temple materials all stand ready. You are correct, the time is short.

It is already happening .    they believe that all religions follow God in different ways .    FALSE FALSE FALSE .  but its what more and more are believing .

The religions have already united under a banner a few years back .    Which was for world peace .  the main leaders of all religions did that .

Saying for the dire need of world peace all religions must come together and worship God as ONE .     Not only that sister ,     they said their can be no world peace

TILL the entire world embraces as one.    Its why we see such a push for UNITY UNITY UNITY in the churches .

Not only that but on that day , over two years ago ,   the speaker who was their was saying and through this grace WE WILL BRING SALVATOIN TO ALL THE WORLD .

It is my belief that Rome will rise again, this time it will be The Beast’s Regime (Revelation 13:1-17, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-11). Let’s look at Rome in many of iits forms: 

I. The Roman Empire

-Rome conquers the world and tries to unite all races and nations under its flag and colors to create a utopia. 

Kills the Christ, and persecutes Christians via Caligula, Nero, Domition, and Diocletian. 

II. The Roman Byzantine Empire

-The Eastern Roma, The Church and Rome become one through Constantine. All of Greece, parts of Syria, Turkey, and Judea united as one, the dream of Rome. 

Kills the Church of Acts for a thousand years, persecutes the true Gospel. 

III. The Roman Catholic Empire

-All of Europe and Judea united in the Roman Rite (the dream of Rome) and the Roman Pope rules people from England to Antioch. 

Hides the True Gospel and persecutes Protestant reformers and translators. 

IV. The Holy Roman Empire 

-The German Kings desire to be emperors and rule a neo Rome of their own, this creates the First and Second Reichs. 

Except for Wittenberg, persecutes the Gospel and Reformers. 

V. The Romanovs 

-The Russian Tsars (Cesar’s, czar) believe they were the Third Rome after Constantinople fell to the Turks. 

Censors anything that isn’t Eastern Orthodox, The Simple Gospel hidden. 

VI. The Reich, Third 

-Adolf Hitler tried to create one thousand year Reich and rules with the eagle and salute of Rome. 

Outlaws Christ worship and persecutes the Church. 

VII. The United Nations 

-The UN endeavors to unite all nations into one, the dream that was Rome:

Supports Post Modern beliefs and Humanism, persecutes or censors Christians. 

VIII. The Roman Beast

-The Antichrist will create an empire where he will rule all peoples (Revelation 13:7), which was the dream of Cesar and Rome to unite all nations under its flag. 

Will outlaw Christianity (2 Thessalonians 2:3-5), persecutes Christians (Revelation 13:7) and will War against Christ.  

Min each case Rome rises and comes against Christ, His people, and the Gospel. 

Rome keeps coming back in every age and it is always a “unite and become one people with Utopia as a goal.” In contrast, Jesus Christ Kingdom is The Kingdom of Heaven which He will bring to earth (Revelation 20:4-9, Revelation 21:1-63). Rome is the counterfeit for God’s Kingdom, Rome is Satan’s counterfeit.

You post a simple and plausible summary based on Scripture and historical fact, FD.

I see the metaphor in Revelation, of the first beast with Seven Heads that morph into Seven Mountains symbolising Seven Kingdoms through time, as carrying the meaning of complete imperial control. In speaking through the Bible to us of these seven imperial entities, each with their attendant characteristics, God demonstrates how people have either obeyed or disobeyed Him. The final manifestation of imperial control will incorporate all the characteristics of those that have led to it...and Christ will come and destroy all that opposes Him and His Kingdom.    

Egypt, +Assyria, +Babylon, +Medo-Persia, +Greece, +Political Rome, +Papal Rome, =Perditious Rome

I know people like this idea of Rome as the final empire but it's just not biblical. Rome has nothing to do with the statue in Dan 2.

First, whoever the beast and his allies are the seat of that government will emanate from the region of Mesopotamia, where Babylon once stood.

The little horn must arise from one of the four notable ones that took power of the Grecian Empire after the death of Alexander. That's going to be Turkey, Egypt, Greece or the Mideast.

Based on this alone Rome is not in consideration for the rise of the beast nor the power base formed after it's rise.

Since the first three empires from the statue all notably ruled from Babylon in Iraq it's likely the fourth either rules from the same city or at least in the region of Mesopotamia. Rome did not, but Islam did.

Since Dan 11 follows the succession of kings of the Seleucid Empire, right to the willful king of Dan 11:36, it's more than reasonable to conclude the beast is Syrian, Iraqi, Saudi, maybe even Jordanian, but certainly not European. 

God's whole plan is Israel-centric, both the nation and true, spiritual Israel, of which we believers are members. Everything that has occurred in scriptural history concerning Israel, in relation to others nations interaction with Israel, has always been centered in Mesopotamia.

It will be again.

Rome is a red herring.

Look to the Mideast, specifically the buffer countries on the east between Israel and the near and far east.
