ABC, CBS, NBC omit all mention of Islamic ties in New Mexico compound starved children case

“Nets Omit Islamic Ties in New Mexico Kidnapping, Starved Children Case,” by Nicholas Fondacaro, Newsbusters, August 7, 2018:

As we continue to get updates on more gruesome discoveries and the squalor living conditions present at a New Mexico compound that included 11 starving children (ages one to 15) and the dead body of one child, one key detail had gone totally unreported by the major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC): The ties to radical Islam.

Last Friday, the Taos County Sheriff’s Office executed a raid on a makeshift compound in the New Mexico desert in the search for 4-year-old Abdul-Ghani, who was believed to have been abducted by his father 39-year-old Siraj Wahhaj in Georgia back in December. And according to the Sheriff’s Office, what they found was horrific, even “third world”…

The raid was a high stakes operation that required “a tactical approach for our own safety because we had learned the occupants were most likely heavily armed and considered extremist of the Muslim belief,” Sheriff Hogrefe explained in a press release. Two men were arrested while three women who were also in the compound were detained and then released. “[A]ll 11 children were immediately taken in protective custody and later turned over to the state CYFD division,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

The missing child was not found. A child’s body was discovered on the property but had yet to be identified by authorities.

According to a warrant released on Monday, and reported by Fox News, “Wahhaj told the boy’s mother he wanted to perform an ‘exorcism’ on his then-3-year-old son because he believed he was ‘possessed by the Devil.’ The boy suffered from seizures and couldn’t walk…

If the case couldn’t get any grimmer, the New York Post discovered that Wahhaj’s father (who shares the same name) was named “as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He also was a character witness in the trial of convicted terror plotter Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman.

When Wahhaj was taken down by authorities, he was armed to the teeth, according to the Sheriff’s Office…

While all three networks dedicated time to the story over the last couple of day, none of them had mentioned the ties to radical Islam. It would be one thing to not report it if it was pure speculation, but since the Taos County Sheriff’s Office came out and declared them “extremist,” it was a key detail that needed to be included….

I'm guessing that they were training the kids to be martyrs….   suicide bombers and such.

Living in those kinds of conditions would be what is needed to mess with their minds and create alternate personalities to be programed to do the bidding of their controllers....

If that is the case we will not hear anything about it

Can you imagine the media coverage had this been compound run by white supremacists?   There would media all over the place down there.   But since it has ties to Islam and Sarsour, the media generally, isn't covering it.

What's worse is that this Muslim compound isn't the only one.

There has been plenty of coverage on this story since it broke and all the networks have had people on the ground. Just about every news outlet quoted the Sheriff when he said they may have been "extremists of the Muslim belief" well before the article in the OP of this thread, which was published on August 8th, says that the major news outlets omitted all mention of Islamic ties.

And they have talking about it on the nightly news segments ever since. The NBC, CBS, and CNN stories below all mention the Islamic connection.

If you go to Youtube and type in the title of this video below, you will find that this NBC story from August 8th talked more about the possible Muslim extremist connection than the Fox report at the link found in the OP.

Well, it is refreshing to know that the mainstream media finally managed to find the courage, intelligence, integrity to actually admit that this was Islamic and not try to do what they normally do, which is try to shield terrorists from being labeled terrorists.  There are other Muslim compounds and hopefuly the media will expose them as well.  Only then can we honestly deal with the infection of Islam in America..

I guess what I don't understand is the lack of outrage.   Just a couple or three months ago, the Left out in Hollywood and in DC and in social media were ready to set their hair on fire about the children being separated at the border.

Here is a Muslim who is starving and abusing these kids, keeping them locked up inside a "compound" and there is next to no outrage, not anything like the wall-to-wall outrage expressed about those children.   Why are these children not afforded the same degree of 24/7 outrage by the Left?

So now this judge in New Mexico just lets them go free.   It's pretty disgraceful.   If a "Christian"(so-called) starved a bunch of children, they would be in jail.  Muslims starve children, and a child dies, they go free.

David and Louise Turpin starved their children, and their bail was set at $9 million dollars.

I saw a headline today

"Off the grid dream turns into deadly nightmare in New Mexico"

How much denial can they do?
