I would appreciate it if someone could explain to me what is meant by a member "reacting" to a post. Thanks ahead of time!

I just gave you (reacted) to your post above, with a "Thanks" clapping hands. If someone wants to show their 'reaction' to what you posted, they click on the closest symbol. Then you get a notification (the red bell) above at the top right, or sometimes also at the bottom right that pop's up. And emails if you are quoted. Hope this helps.

This story of Mary and Martha has always been one of my favorites. The desire to be a Mary and not a Martha, has been a main stay. My favorite part of the story is when Jesus said;

“Mary has choose the good part and it will not be taken away from her.”

Has been a blessing to me in so many ways. Blessing to you for bringing it up..

much love in Christ, Not me

Hi and thanks for your reply and comments! I would image that Martha eventually learned this lesson, which serves as good instruction for all who are learning in Christ. The passage I believe entails the issue of the article best is Matthew 20:28: "the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve." This is the only time when receiving is more blessed that giving! God gives to believers so we can give to one another.

God bless!
