And if you look in the Greek in ANY manuscript, you will find "THE" before the Greek word for "tribulation." I guess you are so perfect your memory never is faulty! I congratulate you! OF COURSE there is "church age." You just don't believe the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 9:17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. Ephesians 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: We don't live under "the law." Did you not read? Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. We live under grace. It is an age. It is a dispensation. The KJV translators had no problem with this word: when then do you? "No change" Where in the world have you been? OF COURSE there has been change! The second person of the Godhood came to earth to be born of a virgin - to take on the flesh of humans. He died and then rose again, making it possible even for those in the Old Covenant to leave Hades and be escorted into heaven. In case you missed it: It was NECESSARY for Christ to die and be raised from the dead - else your sins and the sins of the world would remain. You amaze me! Anything is possible when the concepts are not understood. Strong's Concordance oikonomia: stewardship, administration Original Word: οἰκονομία, ας, ἡ Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine Transliteration: oikonomia Phonetic Spelling: (oy-kon-om-ee'-ah) Short Definition: stewardship Definition: management of household affairs, stewardship, administration. The above is what is meant by dispensation. It's official duties entrusted to someone for a period of time. Nothing whatsoever to do with a change in conceptual application. Paul is only speaking of the administration of the Gospel and the managing the affairs of the Lord in relating the grace and love of the Lord for the purpose of saving those who would hear. It's always been grace. The Law is sin and death. The Law never saved anyone. And there are examples of those who were taken to heaven before the Law was given as well as the example of Noah. How did Noah find grace if we are only in the age of grace since the ascension of Jesus? It's always been grace but I suppose that doesn't help to bolster your perceptions.

OF COURSE it has always been FAITH through GRACE. But the STEWARDSHIP changed. And the common term today is the "Age of Grace." Perhaps you would rather call it "The age NOT law." Since you DO believe that the management (administration) changed, why not admit it instead of trying to argue? What do YOU call this modern age of the church we live in? By the way, calling this the "age of Grace" does NOT mean there was no grace before. It is only a term. Would you argue if I called it "the church age?" Whatever you wish to call it, this church age is going to END with the pretrib rapture. You can "take that to the bank." Then it will become "The Day of the Lord." Or will you chose to argue that term also? I guess we could call this age we live in "age of The Way." By the way, there is nothing wrong with my "perceptions" or my "understanding." You do not "have a corner" on such things. Of course you THINK you do. I understand that. Edited October 2, 2018 by iamlamad
