For this reason you should both try your best at least to keep it together. Do that Ephesians 3:20 pray alone (make sure you can believe) for both of your hearts to be faithful to Jesus in this situation and see what happens when you then pray together when the time comes. My wife won't pray with me about this, I asked several months ago. I guess I could try again. She won't pray with me at all. @Heybro We got past all of the anger and resentment about a month back. It was a critical milestone in this transformation. Now that the resentment is gone, I'm left with a wife that is lost and confused and doesn't know why she feels the way she does. You are right, she isn't confronting this head on at least as far as I can tell, which is the way God made her. I don't know what the right thing is to get it unglued, maybe the counselor will get more aggressive in the next session, she has been very passive about things. I stopped pushing at this point because I feel like my part in this is to wait for her to break, and then intervene with a display of my undying faith. You do not believe atm that you both can happily pray togethor. Ephesian 3:20 says that God can do far beyond what you believe. So have that verse in your heart for when you pray alone about it and it will happen. Shalom ?

Only recently I have been praying for God to create a path to get us to a point where we pray together. I didn't mean to be so concrete about it. It was a failure on my part to accept defeat for several weeks on the subject matter, but now I realize I need to add that to my list of requests. Good idea to post on the list of prayer requests on the forum, I think that is what you meant. You just jogged my memory about some more I need to explain: Quote Ephesians 3:20 English Standard Version (ESV) ...according to the power at work within us That part of the verse, so no pressure but try and say that pray - like me it can be the weakest mumble as it's His power and strength within us that will do it, not our strength.
