What I would like for you to do, is click on the titles below the thumbnail images to see larger versions of the paintings. The question I want you to answer is which of them would you most like hanging in your home or office?

Once you have decided which you would most like in your home or office, return here and
indicate that choice in the poll answers.

Why do I want this information? I am trying to improve my art skills to the point of making them
marketable. When I sell a painting, the buyer has given me his or her vote. Many potential buyers,
never get to see the my other paintings, and some who do, never say if they do or do not like a painting. My
desire is to paint to raise money for various charities Since I do not have much income (just a
social security check), it seemed like a good way for me to be of some service. By expressing your votes, you give me some ideas as to styles I might want to focus more energy on, to thank you in advance.

Omega man,

That is an impressive portfolio. Thankyou for sharing your work.

Ahh, i couldnt vote..

I do like the linx in the moonlight, especially considering the hrs it must of taken to finish. Not to mention the precision of the lighting.

Then the kenya sunrise and china tree i believe are a wonderful style with the graphic effects.

personally i consider them all to be out of my league.

Thank you for looking pinacled, and thank you for sharing you opinions. When you say you couldn't vote, do you mean that there was a technical difficulty, or that you could not decide, or what? The Lynx is a bit different, to be sure, one of two I ever tried without colors. While it looks detailed and intricate, it was not that bad to do. I saved a lot of time, by not having to mix any colors, and a lot of it isn't even painting really. The with dots are just scratch marks made with a stylus through the black paint before it fully hardened, and which had been applied to a clear finish on top of the canvas, so the canvas shows through. In darker areas, the same stylus was used to apply grey paint. I do not recall how much time I had in that piece, but it was less than most of my paintings.

Kenya Sunrise, and China Tree were fun, I called those panelized. I do not know it that is a good name for the style, but one of the hard things for people to realize who see them online, and not in person, is that those are a single painting of paintings, not separate paintings. You obviously figured that out, that in itself is helpful for me to know.

I an not sure what you mean, bu "out of my league"!

Thanks again!

I dont know the name of the one I like the most, and Im sort of torn between two of them.

This is the one that seems to be a bit more desirable than the other one I like.

I will vote if you tell me the name of it lol.

I like that one I think because the colors are sharper, more dark versus light than the other one I like (desert scent 1).

No technical difficulty, just couldn't decide on a particular panting.

The technique you described using for the link painting is ingenious. I wouldn't of thought of that. Though I did think it was a type of relief. Not sure if that is the correct terminology.

Painting is not a media I've worked with much.

The occasional water color, pen and ink, pencils and markers are as far I've explored.

Mostly pen and ink lately.

You are very talented and blessed with a wonderful gift.

Again Thank You for sharing.

That's some nice work.

3, 5, and 14 would be ones some family members would probably like the most.   My daughter likes elephants.  My father-in-law liked lighthouses.  He had started taking drawing lessons about a year before he passed away.  He loved visiting lighthouses and they were the subject of many of his drawings.

2, 7, and 10 are the ones I like best from the first set.   19 and 20 from the second set.     I'd probably go with 19 as my favorite of the sets.

As for actually being on my office wall, not sure.  None of them quite fit the feel I want.  I'm not sure what would, but I suspect I'd know it when I saw it.
