It does seem that choosing to live those holy days is different than reading about them or listening to someone preach about them.  And they make so much more sense than the subsequent replacements.  Not interested in going back now.

I learn stuff through the feasts, the tabernacle design and the book of psalms.

”all scripture is profitable......”

The early disciples taught Christ that way.

@Jacob Ben Avraham Thank you for this  excellent, thorough teaching. I very much enjoyed it. It was balanced and thoughtful. You packed a lot into it. It is one of my favorites I have read by you.

:) You contribute a lot to this website and this is appreciated. Praise God!

P.S. Thanks for adding the photo. Could you please comment on it a bit?

This is me, at the ancient synagogue at Capernaum. This is where Jesus taught when he was there.  This is where Peter attended, the ruins of his house are there in that city.  The walls were torn down and rebuilt in the year 400 A.D. yet the floor is the original floor where Jesus walked upon.  Photo;  July, 2015, during my volunteer service with the IDF (Israel Defense Forces)

The reason that I have begun this writing with “Jewish” High holy days is because this is what most of Christendom believe when the holy days of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot are mentioned.  But in reality, they are “God’s” Holy days for ALL believers.  Why do I say this? Let’s keep on reading.

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for this post now a year ago. These holy days are back around again, and it was great to have this topic brought back from the archives. God bless you!

Shalom,

David/BeauJangles
