A Worship Meditation, by Debp

True worship touches our spirit; that is why we long to worship God in spirit and in truth.  We need true worship of the Lord as a thirsty plant needs water.  Nothing else can satisfy our hearts - anything else is merely lip service to God.

Heart Cries, by Debp

The fact that God knows us better than we know ourselves and that He hears the cries of our heart is such a great comfort.  We might not understand everything but let's put what we don't understand into His all-knowing hands.  Take it to the Lord and leave it there.

So true, scripture says;

”the just shall live by faith”

it is by faith we have access to God, it gives such peace and joy to know that truth by experience.

Thanks for the morning praise. 🙏

Much love in Christ, Not me

Feel free to add your poems.

(Sorry, it was  unreadable, here it is below without the graphic)

           A Breath Away,
      From Life
      to death,
A sigh and then a bye, no fragility could have handled it carefully enough,
But a rope was given ...one hand clenched another embraced,
One too short the other everlasting.
      While the train whistle faded
      eternity etched it's infinite imprint.

Does anyone know of any really good devotionals for couples or online devotionals.  I think devotionals are a great way to stay on the right path as long as they are Biblical rooted.  Not that much of a fan of all the purely inspirational stuff even though it has its place.  I look forward to your assistance.

I love praising Father God with the talents and gifts He gave me. One of them is writing poems. I write in my trials and tribulations, I write on the Love of Father God, I write on the person I was, before I met Him.

I have a few I would really love to share with you all, but I'll post one at a time as Father God wants me to.

Here is my index, if someone would like to ask me for one:
      Come to Me
      He is jealous for Me
I'll never let you go (this one I personally wrote the day Jesus made His abode in me)
      Perfect Child
      Darknight Season

      The Fight
      The Light of Your Face
The Makers Hand (one of my fav's)
The Presence of God (to be continued)
      and Unfathomable Love

Today I'm post in one of my Favourites - The Makers Hand.

      The Makers Hand

‘Twas battered, scarred and looked warn out
The auctioneers thoughts of worth was in doubt

The crowd gave the old violin one glance with a crooked smile
To stop and give it a chance wasn’t worth their while

“Waste of time this old thing” someone shouts from the crowd
While they were pointing and laughing with pleasure out loud

Then from the room, far back, a brown bearded Man
Came forward and picked up the old violin, holding it in His hand

Wiping the dust and tightening up the stings
He started playing a melody as pure as the angels sings

He closed His eyes, with pleasure His ears received the sound
Thinking a better violin He never could have found

The audience broke out in clapping, leading into cheers
And some even cried, wiping away a few tears

Saying: “What changed its worth, we don’t understand”
“It’s simple” He replied. “It only needs the touch of its Makers Hands”

You see, I can perfectly remember the day I created this masterpiece
And I also know the day its last note will play and its music finally will cease

Many a man, all battered and bruised by sin
Auctioned cheap to a thoughtless crowd like this old violin

But the Maker always passes by, on the lookout for His lost creation
That needs dusting, tightening of strings, with a touch of love and appreciation

Just like the blind man, hearing his Makers footsteps at the side of the road
Jesus already knew everything about him and his unbearable load

With loving hands, he gently felt Jesus touch his face
Oh when was the last time someone held him in a warm embrace

“I know you need Me, I have heard your crying plea
There there, I am here now, I have come to set you free”

And that brings us to the fact, that we will never be able to quite understand
The change that is wrought, by the touch of the Makers Hand

Blessings in our Lord Jesus Christ
