Alternative or Natural Treatments

I'm in favor of taking quite an array of vitamin/mineral and supplements of all kinds. The reason is, I just really can't afford to go into the time, effort, and expense of that 'perfect diet'. They seem to be a substantial benefit.

For those with money to spend,  for between NINE to TWENTY dollars per meal,  all the meals of the week can be shipped to you ,  prepared from good non-altered, non-disease causing food......  Hundreds or thousands of restaurants, meal prep companies,  and even communities (with buy-ins of $150,000.00 up) ,   have provided this service - good food that has often been reported to prevent or reverse/ eliminate previous problems....

thus for around $280.00 per person per week,  a good healthy diet can be accomplished and IT SAVES TIME TOO - no need to spend time shopping,  thinking up what to eat each day,  preparation is a breeze,  and a lot less time needed in the future going to doctors,  God Willing.  (a good diet does not prevent everything, and might not prevent accidents either! ) .....

On a much smaller scale,   start replacing bad foods with good ones - stop buying the bad ones.....  (even throw them out!)

little by little it will become 'natural' and easy to do.....  (IF the good healthy foods are available)

Just wondering if anyone wants to explain what some of their alternative or natural treatments entail?   I'm not looking to have any but do like to keep informed.  Thanks.

You don't need anything if you believe the word of God. It is a matter of faith no less than saving our souls through Jesus. Saved. That word is Sozo:

- Original: σώζω
- Transliteration: Sozo
- Phonetic: sode'-zo
- Definition:
1.  to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction
    a.  one (from injury or peril)
        1.  to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health
        2.  to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue

Sozo is found 103 times in the Greek Scriptures. The first time is Matt 1:21:

        Matthew 1:21
She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.

        Romans 10:9
that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Salvation is more than changing our destination after death; it is changing our lives to realize today, right now, our restoration to health. This is done through Faith - a strong conviction - through the work of Jesus. To have it manifest requires only to confess your sins, repent, and confess your healing. The devil is the law enforcement; that is, you break the law, he has a right to punish you. Think of it this way: if the speed limit is 65 and you're driving 60 and there are 14 cop cars ahead, can they stop you for speeding? No. You've done nothing wrong in that area. But if you're doing 80 and there's one cop, can he stop you? Yes, and you are punished with a ticket, a day in court, and out some cash. There's no difference in the war with the enemy.

       1 John 5:18
We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him.

       Luke 10:19-20
Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.  Nevertheless, don’t rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.

Now, just because no one teaches the word of God to take the Father's promises in order to manifest doesn't make it untrue. People like formulas so here's one:

       James 5:14-16
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

You need this formula because we don't believe - the prayer of FAITH (strong conviction) will heal them. The Father links healing with salvation (the same word) and plainly links it twice:

       Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.

       1 Peter 2:24
who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

That's an alternative to man's "natural" treatments. Walk holy as He is holy and you will walk in divine health - but you have to take it from the enemy:

       John 10:10
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly

       John 15:7
If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you.

Do you believe the word of God or take the Father's promises?

       Luke 1:37
For everything spoken by God is possible.

Is it the Father's will?

       2 Corinthians 1:20
For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen,” to the glory of God through us.

       Matthew 11:12
From the days of John the Baptizer until now, the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Through God's promises, we take the Kingdom of Heaven by force. "We wrestle not with flesh and blood..." You take the word of God and wield it against the devil! This is the Good News that Jesus preached: we have dominion through God! Healing was part of the atonement, it's ours, but we have to take it away from the enemy by force.

Do you have a strong conviction? Then you'll be healed.

Hebrews 3:12
Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God

There are many reasons why we don't manifest the promises of God (like sin or oppression), but by and large, it's because of unbelief in the heart, which God calls evil. But it's more than just "evil" it's too busy. It also means diseased and blind.

Here is the meaning of the word translated as "evil":
- Original: πονηρός
- Transliteration: Poneros
- Phonetic: pon-ay-ros'
- Definition:
1.  full of labours, annoyances, hardships
        a.  pressed and harassed by labours
        b.  bringing toils, annoyances, perils; of a time full of peril to Christian faith and steadfastness; causing pain and trouble
2.  bad, of a bad nature or condition
        a.  in a physical sense: diseased or blind
        b.  in an ethical sense: evil wicked, bad

Stay away from sin and the world. When we indulge in sin, we die.

Romans 7:5
For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

James 1:14-15
But each one is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death.
Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
