There is a huge difference between "this is what i think this passage says" and "God told me this is what happened in addition to scripture." And while there are a select few authors that do add to scripture, it doesnt make them right, and i dont waste my time with them. I agree, I see your point now. It is like when someone is not being humble enough to separate speculation from what the available data in a scripture can actually reveal.
