The_Patriot2018, Biblical commentary and writers of synopses do it all the time. Pastors often add historical context and personal live experiences to the scripture as they read it. The only people I see you damning are those who disagree with you. Like the Bible is written clearly enough for a universal consensuses of the truth. The Cross is the only thing that is clear to every Christian.

No, they dont. There is a huge difference between "this is what i think this passage says" and "God told me this is what happened in addition to scripture."

And while there are a select few authors that do add to scripture, it doesnt make them right, and i dont waste my time with them.

I agree, I see your point now. It is like when someone is not being humble enough to separate speculation from what the available data in a scripture can actually reveal. They fail to realize their "truth" is just another opinion and not entitled to be included in everyone's canon.
