That is true if you have FB on your phone.  I do not.  And it is blocked.  I use Opera and Duckduckgo as well.

it isn't facebook that is listening all the time...  Apple and Google through their phone software that you can't get rid of that is listening.

I highly recommend shunning Facebook, instagram and twiter myself. I have the same gut feeling as others on this forum. Its not good. I honestly think they are being or will be used for dark purposes in the near future.

I wonder what Worthy members think of Facebook?

Facebook, is a mode of communication.  Like any mode of communication, you can use it for good or evil.

You can use it to keep in contact with family, or you can use it to commit adultery with an ex-boyfriend.

But this is true of any form of communication.  You must have healthy controls and boundaries.

Additionally, like nearly anything, facebook can be addictive.   I can give you a false sense of community, that isn't real.  Just like a person can be a bowling addict, and spend their entire life at the bowling alley, so to can you spend your entire life on facebook, which is equally unhealthy.

I have never been interested in participating in Facebook. It just seems so worldly to me.
