You are confusing general tribulation and hardship with the specific period of time commonly known as the Great Tribulation. The problem comes from not grasping fully what the GT is all about, who it is intended for, etc. It is quite clear in both OT and NT that Jacob (Israel) is the focus. And why? As Yeshua told us in Hosea and Matthew, they have to be brought to a point where they as a corporate entity finally acknowledge Yeshua. Unfortunately, it will take driving them almost to the point of total annihilation before they get their mind right and petition for Yeshua’s return to rescue them. As arrogant as many in the church seems to think they are somehow the only focus of anything God does, Yeshua made it very clear, no ambiguity, that He is not going to return and plant His feet on this planet until collective Israel acknowledges their offense of rejecting Him, turns to Him, and calls for His return. And those that are part of the redeemed up to where all this starts and Israel becomes the main focus, are removed and hidden where the Lord is. Many, many passages in scripture say just that. The Prophets, the Psalms, etc. There will be those who figure things out after that period starts and turn to the Lord. And it is those who take the brunt of what goes on then. A delusion strikes and is filling the cups of those who have rejected the Love of the truth and have not only had pleasure in those who do so , and once knew the judgment of God was against such things now honor and embrace and have pleasure in those who do wickedly . A delusion is getting dumped . They cry , peace , peace , unity , and gather will all mindsets and religions now contrary to Christ . The cup is filling and soon those who have drank of it will come against those who have rejected the sour drink . IN THE LORD , make they face hard as flint , resist all the delusion of the cup . Resist and understand that in time many who sipped not of this all inclusive cup who did not commit fornication with the cup of delusion will be hunted . Fear not man , nor what he can do , FEAR only HE who has power to both kill the body and then destroy it hell fire . A great end time climatic last hour delusion is gathering churches , other religions , secular all into an inclusive mindset for world peace and unity . As one mind and heart they will more become focused and will be led to all out worship of the beast who is to rise . Fear not what is coming , resist the delusion BY FAITH IN CHRIST . FOLLOW the lamb wheresoever HE does so lead and HE does and will guide us into TRUTH . Let the weak say IN CHRIST I am made strong to withstand all evil . Let the feeble be comforted in this , that no matter what we suffer , lose in this life , no matter if we are killed, this life is only a vapor that appears and then is gone . BUT ETERNAL LIFE found ONLY IN CHRIST is FOREVER . They can take and will strip us of things , they can cast us out of society , they can punish us , and even kill us , BUT WE THE LORDS . WE THE LORDS , we got all hope . We got all hope . And whether we live , die , no matter what we suffer, WE WILL REJIOCE as others before us have when they were persecuted , in prison , even at their last hour they went out faitful to the LORD . What is coming has will come and the delusion that leads to the beast , has already began . Put on the whole armour of GOD that we withstand all the vile and evil fiery darts the enemy will cast as us . ONLY the physical body dies , BUT HE who drinks of the waters of life, IN JESUS shall never die , THEIR SOUL will not die . And to be absent from our earthen body IS ONLY to be present with OUR LORD and SAVOIR . NO fear , GOD IS OUR HELPER and we shall NOT fear what man can do to us.
