Sure you do. Sorry, but I'm not buying into that bravado. No one this side of insanity will want to be separated from God eternally when instead they can be with Him through the sacrifice already made by Jesus for them. No one this side of insanity says let me drink from the dirty dish water, I find it more pleasant than  the fresh water from the tap or well. So I don't believe your claim, sorry. it just isn't so. You can tell yourself it is. You can try to sell others that it is, but nope. I don't buy into it for a second. God loves you. Love yourself, at least a little as a start. Give up the bravado, it isn't working for you. Lets talk Jesus our awesome creator, just give me Jesus- "You can have all this world just give me Jesus". ( From the tune sung by Fernando Ortega.) There is a great tune to wake up to each day called Sing to Jesus. Loved one we have talked about this you are trying to do... you cannot prepare for what you fully do not understand! I am sorry you have been hurt so much that you feel that this reaction is correct. May I ask that you rethink this. I don't know if at such a late time you will see this reply, I hope you do. Carrying resentment, hatred etc will do you no good, but a great deal of harm. This is not just a Christian view point but one that psychiatrist recognise as well. Unfortunetly only Christianity offers you a way of dealing with your hurts and ill feelings. Please seek a Chriostian you trust to sort out where you stand with Jesus.
