I thought it would be nice if we who are celebrating this joyous season could share a carol that personally touches us and tell why. I found myself thinking about how cool it is that some carols proclaim the gospel. One such carol is "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem." These are the verses I refer to: How silently, how silently The wondrous gift is given! So God imparts to human hearts The blessings of His heaven. No ear may hear His coming, But in this world of sin, Where meek souls will receive him still, The dear Christ enters in. O holy Child of Bethlehem Descend to us, we pray Cast out our sin and enter in Be born to us today We hear the Christmas angels The great glad tidings tell O come to us, abide with us Our Lord Emmanuel
Guest In Him
O Come All Ye Faithful Joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem. Come and behold Him, Born the King of Angels; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord. O Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation, Sing all that hear in heaven God's holy word. Give to our Father glory in the Highest; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord. All Hail! Lord, we greet Thee, Born this happy morning, O Jesus! for evermore be Thy name adored. Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing; O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord. When I'm out and about, in all the hustle and distractions, and they play this worship hymn, it turns my heart'attention to Him; you can't help but wish everyone was thinking of HIM. Praise You, Lord Jesus!

I had them a month ahead of time and had tried several times to write something, but nothing would come to mind, it was all just too sad what did. So on Christmas Eve is upon me and the cards and my mind were both blank lol Had been studying for about 3 1/2 years at this point; So frustrated as to what to write, i just looked up and asked, are You gonna help me with this? Then this poem without hesitation or thought just rolled off my pen and i can never forget it. An Angel is just a Messanger, To let the people Know That Mr Santa Claus really does control The North Pole Thats because He is there with Mrs Santa Claus and all their Superelves To make that pole straight Again, so that we can All be ourselves EVERTHING in the Universe normal once Again Mr & Mrs Santa Claus And EVERYBODY Friends. ______________ Thats Bible basics for children ? For adults, just change it to Mr Love and Mrs Wisdom ( Proverbs CH 8 ) Merry Christ to the Masses of People and Know the True meaning of it/// There is No such a thing as an accidental birth. Go forth and multiply and Never forget to Praise Our Father Love, The LANDLORD... Years later upon reflection when i had a thought of; i wonder why He gave me this poem? It was clearly impressed upon my mind at that moment; What did you expect me to tell you? a lie? LOL

Thanks for sharing. At this ultra busy time of year in a noisy world of hectic malls with stressed out shoppers... how nice it is to reflect upon Jesus, the reason for the season! Sad, but true about the lost ones who see it in a commercialism only way. They have no idea what they are missing. I have heard Jesus described as 'the Gift who keeps on giving.' Even the so-called 'perfect gift' on this earth doesn't come close. And that's a definite UNDERSTATEMENT.

I find the lyrics to be thought provoking. So I have been reading them carefully and hoping I understand. 1 hour ago, Yowm said: Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume Breathes of life of gathering gloom Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying Sealed in the stone-cold tomb So myrrh seems to be foretelling of His sacrifice for us. I think it is some sort of spice. Do you know if it was used on the graves? Intrigued by the significance and deeper meaning... 1 hour ago, Yowm said: Glorious now behold Him arise King and God and Sacrifice Alleluia, Alleluia Earth to heav'n replies Okay...so there is the word Sacrifice. I see the words "behold Him arise." So I'm pretty sure that means His Resurrection. Am I on the right track?

Hesitated to add that "out and about" to me means if I'm out of coffee and have to go to Walmart or McDonald's. No malls for me, thanks. I will be in Walmart and remember Cletus' or Butero's words about wanting to eat the wallpaper...the humor keeps me sane amidst the noise of the season. Hence, the reminder to me of our calling and election to become as He is for a lost and dying world! Blessings to you dear Turtletwo for all you do and are to the Body of Christ! O Holy Night O holy night, the stars are brightly shining; It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth! Long lay the world in sin and error pining, Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born! I done decided , if the world thinks praising the LORD is wrong, I don't want that song . I truly feel we ought praise Him every day and at all times . I mean , HE SAVED US ...........DIDNT HE . AINT THAT ALL THE REASON TO JUST THROW THOSE HANDS UP and JUST praise the HOLY LORD . I FULLY KNOW IT IS . OH let sister turtle two just REJOICE IN SONGS to the LORD and listen to her audio bible . And let sister IN HIM just leap up and praise the LORD . Let the drums pound to the PRAISE OF THE LORD and every instrument sing GLORY to the LORD . Let the people with joys of thanksgiving sing praises to the LORD . 1

Mary did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters? Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new? This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb Mary did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations? Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb? That sleeping child you're holding is the great I am Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Mary did you know? Oh Mary did you know? I like this carol, because more than most, it speaks to who Jesus is beyond a baby in a manger born to a virgin. You can hear this Carol performed at
