Shalom everyone,

The first book, we'll be reading is Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson.

https://www.amazon.com/Bondage-Breaker-Neil-T-Anderson/dp/0736918140/r

If anyone cannot afford the book, please send me a private message, and I'll send one to you as a gift from the ministry.

Why did I choose this book as the first book in the club?  This book radically shaped my life and helped me get over the beginning struggles in my own life and helped me understand who I am ... and gave me an identity in Him!

The first online book club meeting will be on Monday, December 17th at 10:30 EST

God bless,

George

I have read the Bondage Breaker and have it in my very small collection of books.   Another one of Neil Anderson books and which I am reading again is "The Beginners Guide to Spiritual Warfare ".  This writing helps one to be stronger and stand firm when the enemy comes in like a flood.  Personally, I think everyone who can get this book ,get it and have a read.  It opens up about the truths of the spiritual realm that I can attest to what this man writes about.

I don't know about any other, but my life as a believer has been with many terrible battles that still goes on till this day.  These writings helps when the enemy sends his darts, not taking nothing away from the word, but when the reality of events starts to take its course, these books helps one to know that he is not alone in these battles.

"The problem  is that if our world view does not include a correct view of God and does not see satan as a funtional part of this struggle, we will wrestle with flesh and blood and forget we are also spiritual beings wrestling with principalities and powers " page 72

"satans plan for the church is to divide, discourage and destroy ".

Still, there are things that I have been through and have not read it anywhere.  The spiritual real with these battles are real people and  this man presents it in a way that should be understood.

As my name title here is, so the believer has to be in these battles.

I think there should be very serious Christian discernment in reading his books. He has been known to say that Christians can have demons within them and also that Christians should talk to Satan.

I gave the link so people with an 'open mind' could read and evaluate both sides. I too read the Bondage Breakers 24 years ago and disagreed with it's teachings and still do. Let the readers decide, that's all.

Actually this is the problem with the church .   they wont point to truth they KNOW with any kind of authority . . ITS LET them make up their own minds .

NO , if you KNOW its wrong ,  YOU warn folks .   IF we love them we do .

You know I love you , yowm,  so don't get upset about this reminder .   Just embrace it .

Jesus gave authority to cast out demons, so yes, Christians can have demons in them, even when saved there can be unresolved demonic issues

@Abby-Joy

and no, Neil is not saying we should talk to satan, he is saying that we need to verbally address the demons, in the name of Jesus Christ, out loud, to depart from us, and pray out loud to God to deliver us.

Christians can have demons in them

How can the Holy Spirit and demons live together in the same house?

Born again Christians are forgiven from their sins and Jesus lives inside of them and there is no room for the enemy, they can't live both together in the same house ( your body.

Demons can oppress you but not possess you.
