Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! The passage above can be compared to the one below. Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! In examining Isaiah above, it can be seen that Isaiah is speaking of the peace that comes to Israel from the reign of God on earth; the reign of the Lord Jesus Christ in His earthly Kingdom. Romans 10:15 is referring to the gospel of peace to Israel in regards to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and His reign. The second gospel of peace is in Ephesians below. Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; This gospel of peace, as can be seen below, is the peace with God received by the propitiation and reconcilement we have through Christ. Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Also, as can be seen in the verses below, the gospel of peace refers to the cross of Christ reconciling both Jew and Gentile to God, and each other, by removing the wall of seperation, and making one body of the two. Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. One adresses the Old Testament believers and one adresses the New Testament believers. Rom 3:28-30 (28) Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (29) Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: (30) Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. Gal 3:6-9 (6) Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. (7) Know you therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. (8) And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. (9) So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
