right, I have double check all the mentioned scripture in the 1611 version of the KJV and they have not been recently changed. I can only assume (and may well be wrong) that, as the purpose of this bible was to make it accessible to the common man (and woman) then familiar terms like 'bottle' and 'Easter' were substituted for the original wording.

 

Mary ,the thing is not that it has been changed in the Bible but people use phrases they are not in the Bible thinking it's in the Bible. 

example : who shall feed the Lamb? 

And the --- shall feed the Lamb
