So now that Christmas has come and gone, there are still some things that need to be done.

For some of us,  we have to put our Christmas decorations away.

What I did wonder, is what do you do with your Christmas cards?

Our pastor told us, that he keeps the cards sent to him,  and through the year continues to pray for those people.  I thought it was a great idea to try myself and share with others.

I would love to hear what you do.

All the best for 2019.

Now that's really cool, Annette. I always felt bad thinking about throwing them away, and left that job to my wife. I worry about adding to my 'pack rat' behaviors, but a little box full of our friends and relatives personal hand written, signed  Christmas celebration is a great idea. I believe this would honor the One who is being celebrated.....

some charities collect the cards and use them to help disabled people make things like gift tags for sale next year  ( you can cut off the bit with the names as they only use the picture part ) I never give them any cos I haven't  done " cards for 23 years .. the year my son died I stopped sending cards and donated what I would have spent on cards and postage to help others

Yes, that's a great idea. I hate throwing them away as well. Although I don't get as many as I used to. I don't think as many people send Christmas cards now like they did in the past.

Our Christmas decorations are still up. It always seems sad when it's time to take them down. Here in Scotland, the 2nd January is also a holiday.

Thank you so much for sharing Ladypeartree. I think that is great that you do something as a constant reminder of your son.  I love that.
