If we stop our minds from thinking of things that have a false value and turn to the truth and instead think on the truth we will be well off. How many times we think wrong things ? What good does it do for us. We may think of the wrong someone did. Instead think of that person as someone who needs forgiveness. Instead of feeling bad of some need remember the Lord will give us all things. What we think effects us. Especially think on the Lord Jesus. Keep your mind on him. 3

Let's have the whole verse. Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Such a soft and kind heart, and one that is willing to learn can be seen in this writing. Someone who is being taught personally by God. For what you write is so true. If we would guard our minds from thinking “false value” and keep them on that which is true. Blessings and growth would follow. You applied it to unforgiveness also, as a “false thought”. Seeing that the others wrong was not the issue, just your response to their wrong, was that which was important to you, and to your relationship to and with God. Only one being taught by God could see such a truth. For it is so true, “what we think effects us”. Whether they be good thoughts, or bad thoughts, they all have their own fruit. Some to life, some to death. Blessings, as we press into Him, much love in Christ, Not me Edited January 9, 2019 by Not me
