What Really Is the Mark of the Beast

Recommended Posts

Right, what some Christians don't seem to realize what took place with the original beast, the scarlet colored beast. According to scripture this beast took heaven by force. the question is asked; how can pony man take heaven by force when the powerful could not putt this off? Sounds impossible doesn't? But this is actually what Jesus said happened:

4 minutes ago, HAZARD said:

There will be three things men will have a choice of taking in the days of the Antichrist, the Mark of the Antichrist, his Name or the number of his name.

What the Antichrists name and mark will be is not stated in Scripture but the number of his name is and it is stated as being 666.

Therefore, no man can now know his name or his mark and will never be able to know them until the Antichrist comes after the rapture of the Church.

The mark of the beast is the unforgivable sin, Jesus told the apostate Jews [not all Jews] who was about to kill Him just what was the unforgivable sins is. This is not a physical mark but a spiritual one. The physical marks to the forehead is man-made as we see in the Catholic church and eastern religions, they either have a dot or a upside cross to the forehead, but it cannot save but it does it show the world that this person is in touch with the spirit world something forbidden in the word of God. The Lord never said we can never know until what this evil is until sudden destruction is upon us, its not going to catch the elect off guard because we know what to look for because Jesus warned us what the unforgivable sin is, what the mark of the beast is, its showing hatred for Jesus and claiming that Jesus is the power of Satan.

That spirit enters your being through your seat of conciseness, the forehead, if you read and study the bible it all starts with the forehead. That's where the eyes are, that's where the lust for women start, with the forehead that includes the eye the port of entry for everything good and bad. When we see a woman we just must lust after, where does that lust began? It doesn't began in the elbow or the foot. When you look at the woman, that "bad manma jammer" the lust started in your forehead right between your eyes. The hatred for Jesus starts right between you eyes when you study false doctrines, when you called up spirits of the dead or fallen angels. Whatever you think of doing must start in the forehead the seat of conciseness, it is there where the hatred of God begins.

No my friend, God never said we could not know what the beastly mark, the unforgivable sins is, I know He's not that kind of God who would allow His children to walk blindly into the face of the beast without telling us what that mark is; He's just not that kind of God. The Lord said we can know but it takes wisdom to know. No, the God of the bible is not that cruel. The mark of the beast is something inside the person that makes them reject Christ for another god or religion, that enters the person from without, the point of entry is the forehead. If that forehead, those eyes, has been looking into the face of the occult and believing in the things it preaches, then that forehead is saturated with the things of the occult, those that hate God, the unforgivable sin of treason.

If you don't know what to look for how could God expect us or condemn us for being deceived by the beast? No, this mark of the beast is a foul spirit that enter the person through the forehead.

The mark of the beast is receiving the spirit of Lucifer into your being and accepting it as your God. You can receive it or reject it, it can't be forced on you.

If you don't know what to look for then you are already in trouble.

actually there a quit a few sins that aren't forgiven in the bible, causing a little one to sin, lying to God, betraying righteous blood unto death, rejecting the spirit  and so forth.  the beast will be a terrible blasphemer in a time of blasphemy so it stands to reason that the mark will be some kind of blasphemy against God and those who have it will be condemned.

Not true.

“Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven."  Matthew 12:31

I think it is time to closely define blaspheny of the Holy Spirit.

Lots of information Royff!

Just so you know, I believe the "new age" of deception that is coming is someone who will claim that Jesus, Mohammed, Buddah,  Moses, etc all these were forerunners to the "New World Religion".    This "New World Religion" I believe will claim that each of the authors of each religion was simply a "Esoteric Master" ... and thus will incorporate all the religions of the world into a false religion of the beast.  I do not see one of the religions superseding the others ... but rather something more diabolical coming that would -- if it were possible deceive the very elect.

I do believe the Mark of the Beast is much deeper than simply buying or selling ...

God bless,

George

Agreed George but I always focus on it's literal application for those that just try to make it just a spiritual mark or say it is just the sabbath or something that has nothing to do with buying or selling.  In fact that is the main reason why you cannot repent, I believe because it is much deeper then buy or selling.

The believers in Jesus are sealed by the Promise of the Holy Spirit verse  Ephesians 1:13.

The believers in Satan are sealed by the Mark of the Beast and the evil spirit seal that comes with it.

This is why I believe you cannot repent.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is speech that comes from a heart that is irreversibly hardened against the truth.

  • The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.  Luke 6:45

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin.  When convicted, people will either repent or harden their hearts against the truth.  If a person persists in rejecting the Spirit's conviction, He will cease striving with that person and their heart becomes irreversibly hardened.  Only God knows when that point is reached.  It's unforgivable because repentance is required for the forgiveness of sins.  Those who fail to repent when convicted by the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven because they have rejected the only way of salvation.

I have already given you scripture evidence go back and read it, Jesus said blaspheme against the Holy Spirit is the forgivable sin. Now if I’m reading my bible right it states that its the devil who influence people to rebel against God, Satan is a spirit that indwell people, if not Satan then one or thousands of his demons. We fight against spiritual powers, it's all about spirits, scripture says the devil entered Judas. Anytime anyone calls Jesus a devil some file spirit has entered that person to make him or her commit such blaspheme. So what more evidence do you need to realize that fight against spirit.

That’s basic bible teachings. It certainly wasn’t some physical mark to their forehead caused them to call Jesus a devil, it was Satan, but it was a spirit being named Lucifer aka Satan. Just as the Holy Spirit indwells the followers of Christians the evil unholy spirit indwells those in rebellion against the kingdom. It was an evil spirit that indwelled the king of Tyre that caused him to blaspheme and claim himself to be a God. There are many more places it states that evil spirits indwells people and works through them and I know you know this.

I will show scripture:

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

MARK: from Strong's

  1. a stamp, an imprinted mark

    1. of the mark stamped on the forehead or the right hand as the badge of the followers of the Antichrist

    2. the mark branded upon horses

  2. thing carved, sculpture, graven work

    1. of idolatrous image

It is a visible MARK to make it very easy for the armies of the Beast to know who is rebelling against him.

It may very well be the sign or mark of Islam. It seems that looks very similar to 600, 60, and 6 written in Greek.  It probably is NOT a tiny chip.

It is NOT "inside," it is OUTSIDE and visible to anyone looking.

A physical mark cannot speak, what is it that make men receive this mark, it must first go into the conscious and there decided will I accept it or not. This is matters of the spirit and the heart, it's decided in your spirit what decision you make. When you open the third third which is now happening at a rapid rate in these end times that forehead is marked. Men has been marking that forehead from the beginning in Babylon, that’s where it started. Once this so-called third eye is opened its all over it lets in all kind of lying wonders, and in the end convince men that they are God. That forehead is marked as property of Satan and there is no physical mark.

Now you explain to  What Jesus meant when He told the Jewish priest what they were headed to hell for blasphemy, and this is long before the Antichrist arrives on the seen. It's the spirit of the Antichrist that made them call Jesus a devil, this is the mark of the beast how could there be any physical mark in the future any worst then this? God is marking foreheads now, if your forehead is not marked then you are not the property of Christ. This is what the angels read, they are not all knowing they must read your forehead to see who’s property you are that’s  why God had to mark the 144000 because they had not received their mark because that had not believed until late.

So if men has been committing blaspheme from the beginning then the spirit of the Antichrist was there long before the mark is made physical, it the spirit of Satan that in dwells and influences men to commit blaspheme. There was no physical marked foreheads when these men were committing blaspheme, but yet they were marked for hell. The mark is first spiritual and later will be manifested later, the spiritual was there long before the physical, the physical mark grew out of the spiritual mark that was there long before is made physical.

      Why I am Post-Millennialist   (or a Spiritual Post Bi-Millennianist)!

Post-Millennialism teaches that Christ comes back after the Millennium (portrayed as 1,000 years which is 10 - the number of perfection cubed; 10 x 10 x 10 = 1,000)! In Pre-Millennialism, Jesus is said to come back before the Millennium! There are three main pre-millennial schools, each of which relate to the specific timing of the Tribulation (pre-trib, mid-trib and post-trib). On the other hand, with regard to Post-Millennialism, there are two main schools, firstly that that Millennium is situated here upon this earth which will become more and more Christianised over time, a view which is held by many theonomists, but which I would happen to reject. Secondly, that the Millennium refers to the reign of Christ over the souls of dead saints, who are currently ruling with Christ, in heaven ever since his ascension, and that this (millennial reign), will last until his second coming.

This second view is the one I which hold to, basically it places the Millennium in heaven, where Christ rules over the souls of disincarnate spirits, during what is called the “intermediate state.” My own position has sometimes been called the A-Millennium view. But, I would reject that title, as it implies that there is no millennium at all, a position which I certainly and clearly have rejected. Also in much A -Millennium eschatology, Christ’s current reign is said to be within the hearts of his people (saints), many living upon this earth, which again as I stated I firmly reject, as I would regard the Millennial reign of Christ as exclusively situated in heaven. For this reason to save confusion, I am a Post-Millennialist, but one who would place Christ’s (spiritual) reign in heaven, as he is currently reigning, and this isn't a physical reign upon this earth, or within people’s hearts, he’s reigning in heaven NOW!

Evidences for my position abound, namely Revelation 20:4 states that those people in the Millennium are said to be “souls,” which indicates only those dead saints in the intermediate state. Also, throughout Revelation, we repeatedly read of God’s throne being in heaven, for instance Revelation 4:2: “a throne set in heaven,” and Revelation 20:4 which states: “I saw thrones” which is speaking of those dead saints who are ruling with Christ, in heaven, during the intermediate state. So I’d argue that the Millennial reign has a heavenly setting, it is not based upon this earth, and neither is it within the hearts of God’s people, as many A-Millennialists have claimed! Also consider the idiocy of Christians assuming that Christ does not reign during the church age, or that this reign has no name, in either the Bible or in Christian Theology! It does have a name! it’s called the Millennium or thousand years!

The phrase “a thousand years” is used six times in Revelation 20, traditionally, this refers to the Biblical period of human (biblical) history, personally I would not take it literally, a thousand is simply ten, which is the number of perfection cubed. However, of these six occurrences of the number one thousand, four refer from Adam to Christ, and two of these “one thousand years,” which specifically mention dead souls “reigning with Christ” at Revelation 20:4 and 20:6, apply to the church age, but with regard to Christ’s heavenly reign. Now seeing that this reign must be situated in heaven, and as every relevant mention of God’s throne in the Apocalypse is indeed set in heaven, the 1,000 years of verse 4 added to the 1,000 years of verse 6, gives us a period of approximately 2,000 years; from Christ’s ascension until his second coming which is the natural end of the intermediate state. For death itself is finished (done away with) at Christ’s second coming (1st Corinthians 15:23-26), this happens; “at the last trump” (1st Corinthians 15:52), that at Christ’s second coming, and not one thousand years after the second coming, as in Pre-Millennial eschatology.

I have come to this position of mine after much dialogue with local Jehovah’s Witnesses (JW). I was intrigued that they, parroting the “latest light” from their Watchtower Society, claimed that Christ’s reign was not instituted at his ascension, despite Colossians 1:13 so clearly stating in the present tense, that at the time Paul had written this, Christ, was already a king over his own kingdom! These JWs would then reason that Christ’s kingdom was instituted in the year 1919, but as I pondered this, I came to realise that the Pre-Millennial view, so beloved of American Dispensationalists and their disciples within the Pentecostal movement, had many similarities to the JW position. Both positions failed to grasp that in scripture, be it the fall, salvation or Christ’s Kingdom, it’s always the spiritual first and then the physical second. So God was not lying when he said to Adam: “in the day you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:17). Adam ate the fruit, but his fall was spiritual immediately, his physical death happened much later. So too in salvation, we are saved spiritually first, but the physical redemption of the body is a still future promise, after Christ’s second coming, and that despite what the Television money preachers on TBN and GOD TV will tell you (Romans 8:23).

Finally, the first resurrection of Revelation 20:6 is obviously spiritual, (i.e. it refers to the salvation of the soul/spirit), that is of disincarnate “souls,” who are currently reigning with Christ during the intermediate state, which is a period of possibly 1,000 + 1,000 = 2,000 years, if you wish to take these numbers literally as American Dispensationalists like to insist upon. Now although it is not specifically mentioned by name, the second resurrection must be the redemption of the physical body mentioned at Romans 8:23, for remember that the Bible  puts the spiritual first and the physical second with regard to both the fall and also to salvation. This (physical) salvation happens at the last trump (1st Corinthians 15:52), that is at Christ’s second coming, and not one thousand years after the expiration of some strange earthly millennium, of the saved and unsaved, living together as both disincarnate spirits (souls) as well as people with their souls upon this earth! Finally, remember that the “day of the Lord” (1st Thessalonians 5:2), which comes as a thief in the night, isn’t referring to the first part of some double-barrelled second coming, called the “rapture,” there is only one second coming and that permanently ends the intermediate state, which I maintain is the (spiritual) reign of Christ in heaven over the souls of his disincarnate saints.

Thank you for considering my point of view. I am far from perfect and I'm open to help and correction.

Hi all. Here's another video, this one about the Mark of the Beast. It's a bit longer than the other videos (a run time of 18 minutes) and it comes in 3 parts (the other 2 parts will be released later).

The video attempts to detail how the Mark of the Beast will almost certainly manifest itself as a microchip implant in the hand for buying/selling and how various strategies for taking it are being developed and disseminated to the general public.

I look forward to some lively discussion.

Hi all. Here's another video produced by some friends of mine. It's 6 minutes, so not too long. There is a rather intimate link between prophecy and the teachings of Jesus. After all, the angel from Revelation 10 tells us that the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. The video examines the relationship between Jesus' comments, in particular, about serving two masters and the Mark of the Beast, both of which heavily revolve around our relationship to money.

I look forward to hearing what others think. Lets get some good discussion going about the Mark of the Beast and personal motivations!

      Hi all,
My friends and I made a short video (only 5 minutes). A good many of you would probably already be familiar with the content but I'd still be keen to hear your thoughts on our perspective and perhaps get some good discussion going about the various theories and possibilities. Let me know what you think.

Hi all.  This is the first chapter in an animated video series (of 25 chapters) detailing how prophecy could play out in practical reality. It's a work of fiction, but I believe it does a pretty good job of lining up with prophecy and the spirit of Jesus' teachings from the gospels.
In the first episode America is destroyed in a surprise military strike by Russia, which brings about a domino effect for a series of further prophetic events.  The story focuses on a family who is forced to take shelter in the basement; they had always believed that they would be raptured before all the trouble started. Now they must come to terms with what's happening around them and find a way forward through the coming years.
