Open for discussion.

What is it that makes typical Christian movies or TV

anemic, Pollyannaish, ticking off this group or that group (in the Body Christian), etc.

Why not... for instance... portray Jesus through the eyes of Matthew or Mark or Luke or John or Paul or Peter?

It makes me wonder, if the Church Organization complex existed in the first century CE,

would any of the Gospels have been written or gotten past the censors.

What I am driving at is a good depiction of our Lord as human as he was and is

though so totally Divine in his Spirit. Not only suffering the blows of crucifixion

but rising radiantly from the dead...

That the hardships of virtually his entire life (typically glamorized by the Church)

and for his family all to reveal how

Christianity is too often painted as a tea party life in our own lives...

We all love a man or women when they are "real."

They don't come anymore real than Jesus of Nazareth.

Some expect "atta boys" if Jesus were to walk down the center aisle of their church...

Bible says otherwise... whenever his disciples or the congregations in Revelation for example

expected a pat on the head they got what?

We are to be encouraged... by his love and his sacrifice for us... and we are to be grateful above even

trying to do the impossible by keeping his law as best we can (or so we think) in vain attempts to please him...

so that our focus can be on getting others saved...

by being real.

Does crossflix charge a fee?   Tubi TV has Faith and Family sections.... it's totally free and a huge selection.

Hmm, how about a movie, JOB ? Could be done as a Pixar type cartoon or ... well no, Pixar type animation might be best.

I would love to go to the movie Job. Who's voice might make for a great Job voice over? Anthony Hopkins?  Maybe go counter and do a squeaky voice matter of fact hero of determination. Oh Johnny Depp perhaps?

Johnny Depp as Job, I like it.

Could be a trilogy or even much, like star wars, start at the middle go back and then forward over three four five or more movies all Job. "Have you considered my servant?", "Three friends had I ", "So you think you have it hard" "Thanks for the memories" "Episode five- Job" "Man of sorrow man of joy"
