To visit (take care of) the fatherless and widows. In their affliction........ The Livimg Bible: The christian who is pure and without fault, from God the Father's point of view, is the one who takes care of orphans and widows...... It does not mean 'take from the widows' but 'take care of the widows'. Devouring widows houses must mean something. I was in a church building where tithing was sacrosanct. At the end of the meeting there was this poor woman running around looking for her free loaf of bread the church gives away. She had paid her tithes, now she was afraid of missing out on her 99 cent loaf of bread. She depended uppn it obviously. Why does that bother me when it doesn't seem to bother anybody else. I am told that i am misguided. Am I?

I am told that i am misguided. Am I? That's so wrong . They should have allowed her to tithe but gave her some money with the bread. Or told her just come here but keep the offering for your needs. I mean God is pleased with offerings. But he would not be pleased at a lack of care for that member.

They will cleverly tell their lies abot God, ..........and because of them Christ and His way will be scoffed at. These teachers in their greed, will tell you anything to get hold of your money. ........thr Living Bible
