Taking the oath of office on the Quran

1. Because this country has no religious test for public office.

2. There is no legal requirement to take an oath on a bible. You can take on oath on anything you like really.

using a bible or anything else is not required by the constitution.  

however since Islam requires it's members to put everyone under sharia law that they can, and that is totally incompatible with our constitution, Islam was made illegal in the US back in 1952 and should not be allowed in our country.            Why it isn't is just ignorance of what Islam is.

Exactly-"islam" should fall very neatly into all the categories that would constitute being" banned"according to Law(414) passed in 1952.

Does anyone understand what islam is?They keeping singing that song about "religion"to slip through the cracks when in fact it is a political,social,judicial system,more to the tune of geo-political"invade & conquer"

All one has to do is read the koran,it is very clear to see this is much more than "religion"-my 2 cents

This "Islam isn't a religion it's an ideology" argument has been tried in courts across the country and dismissed each time.  The Muslim Brotherhood can dream as much as they like but the United States is designed to withstand despots and theocrats of all stripes.

Islam was not made illegal in 1952, (please do your own research), as that would be a violation of the constitution.

I do not like Islam and like even less being put in a position where it appears I'm defending it. I would rather Muslims become Christians, but either way I will always stand up for freedom of religion and my fellow citizens.
