The Mark of the Beast (MOB) will, no doubt, be some sort of legalized (by the courts) license to break Yah's Law with impunity. Why will people be willing to take it? It is a means of redistributing the world's wealth. People that have never experienced being affluent or living in a first world country will jump at the opportunity to, suddenly, become prosperous... wouldn't you?

why will people take it...…     because all who are not in the book of life will fall at the feet of the Beast and worship him/it.   and when the beast tells his followers to take the mark they will take it gladly.

Those of us who are in the book of life will refuse the mark and die at the hands of the Beast and false prophet.    it's really very simple.   And once the world goes cashless almost anything could be the mark.    His name, number or mark.....    instead of trying to figure out the marks, we probably should be looking for the Beast for we can't know what those marks will be until he sets them.

Remember, the MOB is worldwide so there will be many who will jump at the opportunity to become a first world country over night, so to speak. Think about all the masses living in third world countries...if they take the mark, they get the wealth distributed to them from those who refused. This is why I believe that there will be an awakening, for us who are first worlders, to what is going on. Think about it, this scenario solves the problem of how to redistribute the world's wealth...problem solved.

The mark (Gr.charagma) of the beast will be forced on mankind by a future satanic regime comprising complete corporate control, exercising extreme executive enforcement, and typifying total temporal tyranny. To refuse the mark will mean death, so it is a test of obedience and faith in Christ which will weed out the pretenders.

Refusing the mark, knowing that death will ensue, is equivalent to overcoming Satan.

So you don't believe that those who take it will be motivated by "peer pressure" with this verse as it's basis:

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.  The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever."

1 John 2:15-17

I don't think people will be forced to take the mark....   and the Holy Spirit will not let you accidentally or be fooled into taking it.....    if you take it it will be either because you love the Beast or do not listen to the Holy Spirit's warnings because you want to buy/sell and eat...

Satan and/or the Beast does not want to force you to go along with them, but they will not let you live unless you do....   but the decision will be up to each of us.

The circumstance is, "no person will be able to buy or sell except they have the mark". That means a person cannot go to the market to get the food they normally purchase without the mark, even if that's just the weekly bag of rice that sustains a family. It has nothing to do with becoming a first world citizen, it's a mark of ownership hidden in rationing of resources and that's how many will see the mark.

hahah....can you imagine what God will do in that season?  It's not just obtaining the physical necessities...but you can't buy or sell your time either.  You can't "buy" the time of an employee, nor sell your time to an employer.   You won't have a 9:00 to 5:00 commitment demanding your time.  Can you imagine waking up each morning with all your  assigned tasks for the day coming straight from Heaven?    A time when it's get close to God or die?  How many of us will choose life in that day?  I bet a bunch of us will and it will be GLORIOUS
