:heart:With tomorrow being the 14th, I want to start off by saying

"Happy Valentine's Day, Worthy family!! I love you all."

 :bighug:

But no valentine can come close to the one that God gave to us.

It is expressed beautifully in the following scriptures:

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13

Thanks! Great valentine I dragged and dropped it onto my desktop for use.

And for right now as I e-mail it to my sweet Texas peach,  my bride across from me on her own computer sharing at her  Christian  message board of choice. Bing -she got the e-mail alert. Looked up at me and smiled.

@Neighbor :) Hi. What I did was type in 'John 3:16 valentine acrostic' and a bunch of images come up. I chose this one (on top row) though others were also nice. That's all I know. You're right. I can't seem to find that website on the tiny print either.

I understand.  As a single person myself, I don't relish the day.  But when I taught school, I had fun with the children.  My rule was that if you brought a valentine to one child or a piece of candy - your mother had to help you organize that for every child in the class.  And they always complied.  No one was every left out - I made sure of that.  And we had a good time.

Today, I am taking my widowed mother out to eat [and my handicapped brother].  She's had a hard time since my dad died 8 months ago and Valentine's Day is not looking good.  My Dad always showered her with cards, candy, and such.  And she would always make a special meal for him.  Her grief is visible today.

Nonetheless, I am getting her out of the house and I hope she has a better afternoon.

Here in Wales we have two " valentine " days, one is in January and is the Welsh saint for love and the other the one you all know  My own take on it is it is ok for a bit of fun but if you don't let someone know you love them every day why bother once a year ?   Hope you and your family enjoyed your meal Jayne  xx
