One is Testament ONE (39 Books) and the other is Testament TWO (27 Books). "Testament ONE" and "Testament TWO"? Where have you heard them being described in those terms? Any amount of studying of the original texts will answer all of your questions. Of course if you compare translations you will see different words used for the same thing. Different people did the translations and felt their word explained it better. No big deal you can always invest in a strong's concordance and look at the original word and its definition. If you are here to teach us, you are in the wrong place, many of us have spent countless hours studying the scriptures to have a deeper understanding of our Lord's word. So do you know Jesus? I pray that you do, and if not that your heart may be opened and you may recieve him before it is too late. God Bless, Dave

The bible was written by Jesus's apostles. Alot of those words came straight from Jesus's mouth. This is not directed at anyone but Sam. Can't you believe in something without questioning it? I am curious as I'm sure other people here are, but are you a Christian?
