I have noticed a change for the better in our President the past few months or more.   None of us can judge his heart, only the Lord knows his heart... perhaps he has now realized certain things were wrong and is now slowly growing as a Christian.

BTW, I posted a topic in the Politics section about your vote in 2020.   So far I only had one reply from LadyKay.

Dear brother, it's the Holy Spirit in us that changes us, He will let us try to do it ourselves until we are so tired and frustrated we finally give up and ask Him to take control of our lives, ...it's a basic fundamental lesson we all have to learn, it's more beneficial for you if you learn at a young age rather than suffer on for years like I did, ...we all learn from mistakes, ...it's better to learn from someone's else's!

Here's a great read on the subject:

The Spirit of Christ by Andrew Murray, you can download it in pdf format.

Lord bless

Fair point. I am well aware it is by grace not works with that we are saved. Thank you for correcting me on that, it is something I need to keep in mind daily. :) I do keep expecting my efforts to change me and that will be something I need to let go of to grow in my journey with the Lord.

Not usually.   Repentance is required,  and is usually not forthcoming.  Sometimes it is, yes.  but usually no, it's not.

Bro, you do realize you just said the Shed Blood of Jesus on the Cross didn't pay for every sin committed by every human from Adam to the last one born?

Bro, not just saved but everything we do this side of Heaven after we are saved.

I apologize I am not following. Sorry if I am being thick, it is not my intention. My point was to emphasize that I do need always to keep in mind I cannot save myself, and need to let the Holy Spirit do its work. May I ask for clarification on your point?

I'm locking the thread since it's getting very personal and off topic.
