Anything not of faith is sin.

If anyone sins in their heart, it is sin just as much as the act is.

If anyone causes anyone weak in faith to stumble,  that is sin.

In general, what leads up to being seen as naked is sinful.

From Adam and Eve forward awareness of nudity has resulted from actions that are sinful. Yet the same awareness of nudity  has also led to acts of kindness, with expression of respect and mercy as well,- one brother  to his shame while two others  of their respect.

Song of Solomon celebrates in graphic awareness that which is nudity and sensuality.

I can imagine many circumstances our nakedness might be accidentally exposed by.  I think modesty is important but I can't imagine the  mere sight  of  nakedness or being seen naked to be a sin in itself.

What we do with  what we see very well might be.

Quote
If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

This verse seems to imply if we see nakednesss....just give them some clothes :)  It doesn't mention the naked one has sinned.  Something has interrupted  their ability  to clothe themselves and we have a  responsibility to help them remedy  that.  This verse implies compassion  for the naked one, not rebuke.

Not necessarily.   Time ?  Location ?   Purpose ?  Motive ?     ......When is that a sin ?  > definition of sin ? >

No. Keep yourself covered and be modest. Accidents happen.  However, be careful and modest.

I don't think anyone can answer that general question...    could be.....   could not be.....    depends on the situation...

We have been born with dead hearts … in the beginning however they were created innocent they didn't know they were naked. We cannot in this life get back to there but for those born of God and are enabled to enter into the new heaven and new earth where righteousness only may be found in all things without end....

Hi, LaurenDee. As a couple have mentioned, few if any specifics are made known here, so it may have been a situational thing. What is sensed, is that you were embarrassed for some reason by it, however. I am under the assumption, that perhaps this isn't a common every day occurrence, or you probably wouldn't have brought the topic into the forum in the first place. All the best to you. God bless!

Shalom,

David/BeauJangles
