One day all true believers will experience this. Whether we depart our earthly tent and join Him in Heaven through death or whether He comes back for us when He returns. At a time of sorrow (a loved ones passing) we may find ourselves reflecting on this thought: What does the future hold for the believer? It is hard for our finite minds to wrap around it the wonder of it all. One Day One day there shall be release All the pain we've known will cease Time on earth will disappear All the sin, the hurt and fear For the die is sweetly cast When the Lord returns at last Things will be made new somehow Yet ones who've passed are with Him now In Christ's presence they are blessed For they've entered into rest My mother did so recently... No ears have heard, no eyes can see The things He has prepared for those Whose names (in the Lamb's Book) He knows Mere words are not enough to tell The joy in which departed dwell Who've looked to Christ to make them right His sacrifice was their delight For those whose sins have been forgiven Have joined their Savior there in Heaven 1 4 2 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
