The moon is moving away from the Earth a bit each year so using that scripture as literal might not be a good idea. Shalom, other one. Really? And, I suppose you think that the Creator of the Universe, who put the moon into orbit in the first place, can't correct the moon's orbit when needed? Or perhaps, He would have trouble during the global Fire to offset the crust while it cools to correct for the weight of the New Jerusalem when it lands? I have a VERY BIG GOD who knows where every subatomic particle is in the entire Universe and CONTROLS where they go and how they interact! He can handle the decay of a satellite's orbit with ease! And, He can easily make it possible for a city the size of the New Jerusalem to land upon the New Earth and bring the New Earth BACK to balance by doing so. No, I really don't know what the New Jerusalem is made of, any more than you do. However, I CAN speculate on extremes of its weight, and show that the extremes will not affect the New Earth, relieving us of the concern that the TRUE weight of the New Jerusalem would affect the New Earth adversely. This is what faith in God is all about, y'know. We not only know that He CAN do as He pleases with His Creation, but CHOOSES to do what will be to our benefit. It's like the Resurrection: God CREATED man (haaAadaam) in the first place, and we think He couldn't do a little thing like raise a person from the dead? The Resurrection is an ACT OF CREATION, as described in Ezekiel 37. It's in the plans of haSatan to raise fears about resurrection in such stories as vampires, ghouls, zombies, and other kinds of "living dead." However, when GOD raises a person back to life, God will create that person anew so that "there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain." (Rev. 21:4.) 1 Peter 5:6-11 (KJV) 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Same physical laws..... neither of us can know. Really that is the climax? Sorry to burst all your bubbles and great maths lessons, God`s Grand Purpose is for His Son to rule from the highest realm and through out all of His great Kingdom. RULERSHIP is what God is on about and all under Christ. This rulership in the lower heavens, (come down out of heaven from God) is the community of people that God has matured to rule there.
