Brilliant! I wonder who did the research on that. All they had to do was call me. They were saying that Alcohol effects you even after you are sober. I take it it wasn't the same 'scientific research' panel that told us that a beer or a couple glasses of wine daily was good for our health. Guess Paul shouldn't have told Timothy to drink wine. To say nothing of the Lords first miracle, water to wine at the party. Yes it was! ................Fermented. (stay on topic).... Just like the food pyramid changes every few years. There is always some expert, looking for a headline. Each one of us decides. Drink/don't drink alcohol. Each one of us decides. Eat/don't eat like a glutton. I would guess there are more overweight people here than alcoholics. Quit looking at me. Eat/drink in moderation. Your thoughts I think the Bible is more reliable than scientific findings. The Bible doesn't totally prohibit the use of alcohol, though it does warn us about alcohol abuse. I don't know your background. I don't allow Alcohol in house. I am some what bitter about liquor Business. Also drug addiction and pushers. I've seen how is destroys families and members went to early graves. My Uncle lost and forgotten in an institution because of wet brain from drinking boiler makers. My wife dies long before she should have because of drugs and Alcohol. I have seen much more. I would be wrong not say I myself am no white lily. I did my share. When I got found Christ he saved me from much. All alcohol and drugs ever did was a living misery. I can't even dare to go into it. I will say though that these addictions do more that screw up you God given mind for life it is not a private problem. It always hurts someone else with pain and sorrow. When I heard the news cast I could only think they are just getting around to this now? I knew this years ago.
