I tell you the day is coming when the Vatican will be a ruins. The Disciples said to Jesus look at the beautiful Temple. Jesus told them not one stone shall left on the other. From an art, architectural, and historical perspective it is a great loss. Last I heard no one was hurt and that is good news. As far as religion goes, pfft, one can worship anywhere. One doesnt need that building to worship the Lord. Although since its catholic, one wonders how many are true believers who worship there. 4 1

Regardless the fact of it's establishment from the origins of Catholic faith, still all the artistry of it's structure, works of art, and also the stain glass windows, re-building something 800+ years old will be next to impossible. Just tragic I think. Shalom, David/BeauJangles

The stained glass windows usually tells stories or themes from the Bible. So I'm sorry for the loss of such an old structure.
