Expiration dates were non existent way back when. If it wasn't covered in green or blue it was still good to eat, and if it was covered in blue we considered it medicinal.

Old Gummy Bears are like old Twinkies. If the hogs don't get to them first they are there for the taking, they just don't gum no more is all.

I have peanut butter and banana on gluten free toast almost every morning for breakfast

Want to have a full Welsh breakfast then you would have bacon ( worms optional ) eggs lavabread ( boiled seaweed ) and cockles with mushrooms

A full English is bacon eggs mushrooms fried tomatoes or baked beans and black pudding ( made from pigs blood and oatmeal ) :31:

Glad I am Welsh :24:

I rarely dislike foods but I DO NOT like black pudding. Reminds me of when I had to take liquid iron supplements. Also similar to sucking on a zinc lozenge. Might as well chew on aluminum foil. :31:

I have been left out hanging on the banana sandwich. Perhaps someone would like to give it a try? Take white bread (usually best for this sandwich), lay on a little of Duke's mayonnaise, then slice up a banana on it (I usually do lengthwise). Then bite into it and enjoy.  Any takers?

Hi, Tigger...  Banana and mayo doesn't sound too very awful even though I've never tried it.  I do love peanut butter and sliced banana on flat bread with a sprinkle of cinnamon and chopped pecans!  Yum!  Just like a dessert!

My mom used to love peanut butter and Vidalia onion sandwiches, but I was never brave enough to try those either.

Hubby and I eat a lot of venison, but because it's so lean, we mix bacon in with the ground meat.  Very good!

I have had an vidalia onion sandwich but once again with mayonnaise, sometimes I add cheese and tomato as well.
