Probably Plantain, no not the banana. Or it could have been a chickweed. Plantain is credited as being beneficial for human use.

Way back in the 70's I had a worm farm , ...yeah it was a get rich quick scam, I had over 13 million worms, ...I was told by their rep the company that bought them from me dried them, ground them into powder and then sold them to flour mills, which because of the high protein content, mixed it in with their flour that was exported to third world countries. At the same time there was a rumor going around that MacDonald's was adding worm meal to their beef, of coarse they vehemently denied it, ...but, ...my best friend was a union painter and he was painting the buildings for a very well know fast food hamburger chain's worm farm.

I'll toss in some old fluorescent lamp tubes you may use to make passive solar heat exchange boxes for your windows if you take a two year long one. Have a pain? ------------- Some of the stuff mentioned as food, will indeed give, me at least, pause in thinking that I can and will eat anything that doesn't eat me first. I suffer some indigestion just reading of it all. Somehow it has led me to remembrance of the days of Mother Earth and Winnie the Poo thoughts of self suffiency on a five acre woods huddled by the wood chip and rabbit pellet burning stove reading Mother Earth and how to repurpose old fluorescent tubes.First i was to make a loop of metal power it by a battery to heat the glass breaking the ends off cleanly. Hey no mention of the mercury inside the tube hmm, oh well just shake it all out in the lettuce patch as I wash clean the glass of it's phosphorous, and irrigate the garden at the same time I guess. What harm can it do my organic crop eh? Oh for the innocent days of the return to mother earth thinking. "Mother Earth" what mother earth? Maybe a misspell - oh well I still dream on occasion of being self sufficient by my own hands, until I stop to realize the very hands were not of my creation but of my God's. And then I give thanks for what is and not worry overly about what might be or what could have been for my pathway is smoothed out narrow but smoothed out and my nourishment is of another kind than that which my stomach thinks it needs. As my Lord stated; he had been partaking of food of another kind making food of the stomach's desire a moot issue. ( Reference John 4)

He talked about how we often equate flesh with sin, but in reality flesh is just human. Trusting in it as opposed to trusting in God leads to death while trusting in God leads to life.
