It beats going hungry and doing without good water to drink by far. Our present bodies are not going to last anyway, each one of them is going to fail. Yet it is nice to have healthy ones well fed ones that flourish while they are in use. Seems we would all be foraging and gathering all as half starved nomads if we did not have the benefit of radically improved methods of crop planning. Not much has been "natural" since God ripped the life out of a living creature to provide cover for the sin of Adam and Eve. The crop is in the fields white and ready for harvest and the workers are few today. Best to focus on the gathering of the crop that is white in the fields ready for the message of eternal life with God than to be concerned about the flesh's treats of the day since the treats are plentiful for most of the modern world, but the workers for the gospel of Jesus few. The the foragers of lands living on what is "natural" have great famine and suffering as their daily companion. Why would we want to enforce that upon ourselves? Aren't we better servants of our Lord Jesus if we help the half starving foragers find clean pure water and better food cropping systems than we all might be if we join them in living their hardship eating only what is natural and found by foraging?
