Some translation mention that all living creatures were corrupted and some that its only about people, what is right? If animals are included in all creatures, would it mean that God was dissapointed in all of his living creations? Hi Leyla, ` ..the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption ......for we know that the whole creation groans and labours...` (Rom. 8: 21 & 22) When man chose to act independent of God then, not only he but the creation came under the curse of death. If they hadn`t then they would have lived forever in their separateness from God. As man is of the dust of the earth, man is tied to the earth (which became separate too) awaiting the time when death is no more and there will be a new earth. Marilyn. Some take that to mean his genes were not corrupted. Most others were. I say most since Noah is later spoken of in 2 Peter 2:5 as a preacher of righteousness, so there may have been more than just the eight aboard the ark, but they did not heed God's warning. From day one the devil has been out to stop the plans of God. Corrupting human genes would appear to be one of his many assaults on God's plans. The point is God wanted to start anew, it would take even longer to build a boat to house every creature on the planet as well as Noah, etc. So God made things simple and selected two by two. It also references to there being clarity by having two, and male and female were needed to produce offspring.

Indeed. If you look at the much obscured stuff about Gen 6 when the Watchers cohabited with women and bore Nephilim and the ensuing disasters of teaching mankind secrets and very disgusting things.. You can see how evil proliferated upon the earth. Humanity largely was in cohorts with the fallen holy ones, and you see that happening today as it all plays out yet again... 'as in the day of Noah'. God needed to wipe the slate clean, but even after that the Babel incident and the Joshua wars demonstrate that evil had a very tenuous toehold on our human existence. So to sum it all up, Yeshua put to rights three issues. 1) Gen 3, 2) Gen 6 and 3) the Babel scatterings.
