Stanley April 27, 2019 "Repent and live" Ezekiel 18:32 Have you considered what happens when we sin? We attempt to meet our needs apart from the Lord. Because of this, we become self-centered and drift away from God and His plan. We move further away from Him until, eventually, we may reject the idea that we need His presence at all. The natural result of this is that we face pain, loneliness, and frustration. Why? Because we don't have the inner resources to bring peace to our troubled hearts, having shut out the only One who can provide them to us-God Himself. He created us to soar like eagles, but instead we become earthbound creatures who have lost the capacity to be who He made us to be. We've clipped our own wings by denying His leadership-which means we won't find the purpose and meaning He created us to enjoy. However, this empty restlessness is actually a good thing because it opens the door for our loving Father to make contact with us again. If you're feeling the inner warning signals of suffering, purposelessness, uselessness, or frustration, examine your heart. You may be attempting to satisfy your needs apart from God. Thankfully, He wants you back. Don't deny Him. Repent and live. Jesus, please reveal my sin so I can repent of it and experience Your peace. Stanley April 28, 2019 "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed" John 20:29 Are you overwhelmed by fears and doubts today? You many think yourself full of faith, but if your frightened by what could happen or what the future may hold-then your trust in God may not be as strong as you believe it to be. It's important that you realize that genuine faith means knowing that the Father will provide His best for you as you walk with Him. Although what He perceives as most beneficial for you may be different from what you envision, you can be confident that He understands what you really need. The One who created you ultimately knows what will truly satisfy your soul-even better than you do. So what is it that's making you anxious today? Is there something you fear you'll never achieve? Does it seem as though He's taking a long time answering some important request? Trust God. You may not see what He is doing, but that's the essence of faith-not seeing, but still believing. The Lord will provide what you need. And if God does not give you what your heart presently longs for, it's certainly because He has something far better planned for you. Jesus, I trust You will provide Your best for me. Thank you for leading me. Amen 1 1

John 6:63 You will never outgrow the need to depend upon the Holy Spirit. In fact, the more mature you grow in your faith, the more you will need to rely on His indwelling presence. I say this to you because He is who you need for all you face. If you have been depending on your own resources, wisdom, or strength, it's no wonder you become tired, overwhelmed, and frustrated, possibly even feeling somewhat hopeless. What is before you is often greater than you can handle so you will learn to rely on Him. It is the Holy Spirit who guides you on the right path, convicts you of sin, reminds you of God's truth, and teaches you to apply Scripture to your life. But even more importantly, it is the Holy Spirit who works to conform you to the image of Christ and who empowers you to serve Him and others. This is why the lesson all believers must learn is how to experience and live daily in the power of the Holy Spirit. No matter where you are in your journey with Jesus, this is the key to being a truly successful, fulfilled, productive, and joyful Christian. Jesus, thank You for Your Holy Spirit, who guides and empowers me to depend on You more every day. Amen

Interment relation. We should spend time in our prayer closet every day. Always have a good devotional that keeps our minds focused on who we are. He also wants to talk with us and make His presence real. We have questions or problems or we just need to feel that he is right there with us by putting lessons from our devotions that hit right on the things w are praying . When this happens you know he was right there with you and has spoke to you personally. This has happened to me more times than I can count. He is never far from any one of us. He can talk to us and does. Not general but personal.

Perhaps your immediate answer is no. But if you're having trouble doing what He asks of you, then you are. Of course, what He commands is never easy because it means giving up ungodly thought patterns and behaviors or confronting wounds and beliefs that you've held since childhood. You may also need to relinquish your desires or the possessions you depend upon for security and worth. So it may appear far more agreeable to live in the same defeated status quo than to experience the extraordinary life God has planned for you. Certainly, its a discipline and sacrifice to let go-it's not easy for anyone. Our fleshly nature holds on and opposes the liberating work of the Holy Spirit at every turn. Even so, when you allow Him to change you, you will experience joyous liberty and assurance. Be confident that if the Father asks you to surrender something it is because He has something better for you. He is faithful to do what's in your best interest and lead you to freedom He created you to enjoy.-no Jesus, help me to do as You ask-no matter how difficult. I trust You to lead me to freedom.
