You can say anything in the way you would say this to another person. God even knows your thoughts. Don't think anything is hidden for Him. Don't think some special words will please Him. Your heavenly Father is not impressed by someone mumbling through prayers learnt by heart and not meant or understood. Jesus talking with the Samartan women told her a time was coming when no one would worshipp in temples or holy places, but would worshipp God in spirit and in truth. That time has been since Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit, so talk to your Father, tell him of your problems etc. May I suggest use the acronym A.C.T.S. where a = adoration C= confession T= Thanksgiving S= supplication.
