Some say "Once Saved, Always Saved (OSAS)" and others say "Grace and Obedience". Are you still unsure on this matter? If so, just reply and we can talk it through. Faith. Works follow. I can tell how much faith a person has in their brakes by how fast they drive. I can tell a person has faith in a chair because he is sitting in it. In fact, if you are doing good works for the purpose of showing yourself worthy, the bible has a name for those works: Dead works. Salvation is sort of the equivalent of eternal "citizenship" and pretty durable. I compare it to being a citizen of the US. What does it take to lose your US citizenship? Denouncing it. You can be in prison for murder, robbery, rape, etc., but you are still a US citizen. Just not particularly upstanding. So enjoy your citizenship in the Kingdom of God. Now ACT like a citizen, knowing that it is not what your citizenship depends on, but your simple acting on your desire to please your creator and savior. It's more of a "thank you" for what he has given you than a payment for what he has given you. You don't have enough to come close to paying for it. All I will say is the bible verse Eph 2:8+9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
