Another possible distinction is this: While living daily in union with Yeshua , echad, as the Son and the Father are echad, thus walking in the LIGHT, the darkness is readily exposed while in religion(s), darkness might actually be ruling ! ? and keeping people from recognizing the darkness, and stopping them from coming to Jesus ? There are many deceiving entities/demons out there, according to Scripture, and warnings about them, as maintaining our protection from them and not falling prey to them. In the LIGHT, which is JESUS, they are exposed easily, quickly, and dispersed / sent away. Not as if by our power, but by Jesus' Name and Jesus' Power, with the Father, echad.
