What if you LOSE your FAITH.... what happens?

Recommended Posts

Here are some thoughts you might consider, regarding "Losing your Faith"...... and if your bible is near by..........

Here is the reality... > Your Faith does not save you.
God SAVED you through your Faith.
Big difference.
Vital Distinction.

So, falling away from it after you are SAVED, basically does nothing but allow God and others to esteem you as a backslider.
This person is a sheep who is off the main path but they are not a "LOST" sheep, as they were previously found by Jesus's Blood and redeemed.
There are a lot of Christian sheep who are no where near the path of Light, yet they are all Children of the Light.
There is no verse in the NT that says....>"ok, you fell out of Christ".
And that is because you can't.
You are "bone of Jesus Christ's bones, and flesh of Jesus Christ's flesh".
"ONE"...>"In Christ".
"As Jesus is so are the born again in this world".... right now.
"seated in heavenly placed, IN CHRIST....right now".

And a backslidden (Christian) says,"" but, i downloaded porn yesterday, and today i stole money from my mother's bank account, and tomorrow im going to fornicate with my stepson again after he's back from Church."""

And this person, who is saved, yet doing all this..... is going to suffer down here.
Not today, as sentence against sin, "reaping and sowing", is coming...but it does not happen the day you sin.....but its COMING.... So this person is going to HURT for what they are doing........its coming.........."Sowing and Reaping".
This is explained by  Ecclesiastes 8:11
Its explained by the "long-suffering (Patience) of God.
However.....Paul details it the same.. = that if they dont turn from their "works OF the flesh", repent..... and get back into the righteous walk, then they will "reap what they have sown", be "chastened of God" over and over, and if that won't make them stop, they will , over time, lose everything, except for their Salvation.
Family, job, money, friends, lifestyle .GONE.....and then they will get sick, and then they will die.  Romans 8:13
As THAT is the final result of SIN, (sinning), as a believer, and continuing to LIVE IN IT.
Seems fair...
But, what is also a fact, is that this born again person, wont suffer in eternity for those sins, because Jesus has already died for all of them, on a Cross, on Earth.
We as BIBLE believers are to understand that in Eternity, in Heaven, the only Sin that God evaluates, to evaluate you, is the one that rejected the Cross.
This is the unpardonable sin., as if you do this one, then you prevent the Cross from taking your sin,.....and you die "un-pardoned".....= the un-pardonable....sin. = Christ Rejection.
This is actually choosing to go to Hell.
Bad choice.
See.....Its only a Christ Rejector......it only THIS sin, that is alone dealt with In Heaven, in Revelation 20:11. Great White Throne.
Believers die and meet Christ because we Trusted Him on EARTH, but if you didn't, then you dont meet Christ as your Savior, you only meet the JUDGE who Sent Jesus here, and you Rejected Him. And now God will reject YOU.......= Hell .... = THE LAKE OF FIRE !
So, if you are not saved, and you are reading this... please do not reject Christ and meet God as you Judge.
Please don't do that.
Received Jesus, Trust in Jesus..... kneel at the Cross and receive the LOVE of God.... End up happy in Heaven, and eternally so.

Down here, on earth, a believer's bad behavior is dealt with by THE LAW OF... "reaping and sowing".
And God will also correct a born again believer, .. Hebrews 12:6...and will anyway.
Most Christians have not been taught all this basic NT understanding, but, i just told you, Saints...so, if this is not what you have known before........now you do.
The born again meet God as their Father.
The unsaved, meet God as their Judge.
On earth, all meet "reaping and sowing" for sin or "works of the flesh"..., so, be sure your deeds are not the type that are going to harvest a season of pain in your life.
It will come for you, if you do.
Your sin will find you out, and it will HURT YOU when it finds you.

See, we as humans, we want to judge how WE see it.
(self righteousness)
But God's ways are higher then ours, as in as high as Heaven is from the earth, is how differently God's thinks and behaves, as compared to how we would try to do the same.
WE, as humans, can't even grasp how a holy God would come to earth and die for the UNGODLY.
So, that is why, many believers can't stand the fact that God's Grace continues to be the same, for people who are born again,, but who don't live a holy life.
What we want to think about them, is that they deserve hell.
Thats how we feel....
That's our flesh. That is how it reacts, against the Grace of God, at times.
The more of a legalist you are, the more you will have these types of feelings and beliefs.
The more you are like Jesus, the less of them, will you have.
But God does not see it OUR way. He only sees HIS OWN as "through the Blood".
Our flesh rebels at this........but that is not How God responds to THEM.
They are His Blood bought Children, and He does not love them less because they are horrible people.
He saved them knowing they would turn out to be rotten stinking Christians.
But Christians they are, and to HIM they belong, as "new BIRTH", as the Blood Atonement.....decided this for them.

To God, ALL sin is pardoned on the CROSS and offered as SALVATION.
In fact, that He does not charge you for yours, as Christ has already died for them ALL,
is explained in this NT verse.  Romans 4:8.
If you reader, have not studied this verse deeply, then you are lacking even a shallow understanding of Grace.
And you need to study this one also..... Hebrews 13:9.
AS if you don't follow that one, early in your born again "babe in Christ" experience, then you'll end up as a devout Legalist on a forum like this one at some point teaching Galatians 1:8.
Really.

So, sgain....about "losing Faith"....
A weak analogy would be : a marriage contract.
Say you are married, and your wife or husband hates you.
Hates you......Despises you.....and wished you would die....they wish you were dead.
Well, do their feelings and attitude and "heart condition" and "words" .... end the marriage?
NO < because there is a contract that overrides their hate and words.
So, its the same with the Blood of Jesus...It overrides all we do wrong, after we are saved, including what we SAY or DO.
""where SIN Abounds (in the LIFE OF A BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN), .. GRACE more abounds".
"God who began your salvation in you, will HIMSELF be FAITHFUL to COMPLETE it".
Philippians 1:6
"Jesus is the author and FINISHER of your FAITH"
Hebrews 12:2
In other words, you can't out-sin Grace.
Many try it, but it can't be done.
You can only "fall away" from it, and become what Paul is describing in Galatians.
""are you so FOOLISH< (that you use to Trust Christ to keep you saved) , but now you are gone BACK into the (flesh) worrying about the 10 commandments, and the law, and lifestyle, as the WAY you keep yourself saved"?
You are FALLEN.......(gotten away from),........"Fallen from GRACE."
This is the Legalist.

So, understand that "holding onto your faith", is not principally different then keeping the 10 commandments, regarding its inability to save you or keep you saved.

A person says......"but my faith is what saved me".
And the NT says...."no, God saved you, through your faith".
And Jesus said while ON the Cross, "it if finished".

A believer says.... "ummm, well, ok, faith does not save me, it's God through the Blood of Jesus who SAVED me.....I see, BUT....what if i fall out of faith". ?????
What if you do?
What if you don't.
This does not stipulate or control or condemn the redemption that has happened to you.
"New Birth".
"New Creation IN CHRIST".
Faith does not do this, it only allows GOD TO DO IT TO YOU, FOR YOU, through your Faith.
HE DID iT.
ITS DONE. .... if you are born again.

Ok, well, there are Legalists that hate this understanding.
They will hate my entire Post.
They hate it, because it does not allow them to feel they are saving themselves, and that of course, is their problem.
Their legalism has replaced real FAITH In Christ ALONE... and so, Now they have resorted to faith in their faith, or its faith in their works.,, or both.
This is Legalism.
Legalism is literally a person climbing up on the Cross in their self effort to keep themselves SAVED.
The legalist, has replace Jesus with > SELF Faith< (what i have to DO)... to TRY to KEEP themselves saved.
Thats their issue.
This is the issue of Legalism.
Paul wrote all about this, in Galatians.
Find a lot more about it there.......

So, It really does come down to one realization.
Its not what you trusted to SAVE YOU< but its what you are trusting to KEEP YOU SAVED.....is the issue.
AS right here is where a legalist "falls from Grace", and into "self saving."
This is why the legalist can't talk about the Cross, can't talk about Grace, can't talk about the Blood of Jesus with joy or deep understanding...... and how could they?... They can only talk about THEIR savior...which is themselves, trying not to "lose it"....and here comes their list of "do's and don't does to keep themselves saved.
...........10 commandments, overcoming, enduring to the end, the Law, lifestyle, holding unto their faith... and their "saving myself" list just keeps going and going, ...........
And what is not on their list, is the Cross or Jesus or the Blood.
So, that is the Legalist.
They are "fallen from Grace".
Grace no longer has a part in their redemption, in THEIR Mind, but in God's perspective these are just people who lost the light and pride kept it turned off .

If they were born again, then this is unchanged.......and thank God for that.

---

And one more about......." quitting faith, losing faith, ...."
Lets say a Christian born again mother has a 2 yr old, that is kidnapped and murdered.
So, they catch the person, and he goes to prison for life.
But, in her broken and devestated heart, she is asking "why", Why didn't God prevent this.. ?? !!!!!
So she says, and means it....
="" I HATE YOU GOD.
BURN IN HELL JESUS>
DIE HOLY SPIRIT, .. I hope Heaven BURNS with the Angels in it SCREAMING !!!!!!!!"""""

Now do you see that?
You are awake now....right?
Do you really think that God is going to cast HIS Child of God into the Lake of Fire for eternity....for those words, and that attitude?
Is God's love unconditional ? Is the Cross weak at Redemption?
Jesus, who is GOD, said that He is ""touched with the FEELINGS of our FEELINGS"".
He knows exactly why we feel what we feel, and why we behave like we behave.
So....no....this hurting broken destroyed woman is not going into the Lake of fire because she is literally blaming and hating God, and will continue to.......and may die this way, as a broken heart can kill you.........if its broken enough.
And if she dies....then she'll meet Jesus, and there is her little girl."mama",, "mama".
Talk about happy tears........
So, why does God Hating mama not end up in the Lake of Fire is she dies hating Christ ??? Because this person belongs to God.. She was bought with a price.
Redemption is not a temporary solution. Redemption is an Eternal forgiveness.
She is "in Christ", and "Christ IN this woman is her hope of Glory".
YET....Christians have this idea that God is some sort of anemic, sensitive, can't deal with anything...... vengeful, lightning bolts, revenge seeking, neurotic, emotional infant.
But the fact is, God is Love and Love is God's Grace, and Grace is the Blood Atonement, and this is so strong and so eternal, that you cant wash the Blood Of Jesus off your born again spirit by a bad attitude or a mouthful of Hate or a lifetime of living in the flesh.

Salvation, is an eternal blood bought contract between the Blood of Jesus and your initial Faith, that results in you going to heaven to be with the family that GOD Joined you to, and put you in, based on THE CROSS.....ALONE.
Its because.... once you signed up with Faith, God signed you up with His Eternal Blood.
God , is Jesus on the Cross.....shedding His blood to bring you HOME AND KEEP YOU THERE.
This is GRACE.
Therefore, when you are "atoned for" by God's blood, (GRACE) it does not become voided by hatred, backsliding, or anything we do, and that is because it is GOD who created the means of the CROSS to accept us, and once He does......then that is the final answer.
"Accepted in the Beloved".

Now here is a little bit more for you....

So, "Faith, faith, faith"., what if i lose my faith".

Ok, there is a unique answer for that question also given in the NT.
Its in Romans.

"Whatsoever is not of FAITH is sin..."
So, if you lose your faith, you have sinned.
And Romans 4:8 says that God does not charge your SIN to you....after you are washed in the blood of Jesus....so, the "lost faith" sin, is just one more that is under that blanket of Blood, ... all washed clean..
White as snow.

Luk 8:11 AMP  Now the meaning of the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.

Luk 8:12  Those along the traveled road are the people who have heard; then the devil comes and carries away the message out of their hearts, that they may not believe (acknowledge Me as their Savior and devote themselves to Me) and be saved [here and hereafter].

Luk 8:13  And those upon the rock [are the people] who, when they hear [the Word], receive and welcome it with joy; but these have no root. They believe for a while, and in time of trial and temptation fall away (withdraw and stand aloof).

Luk 8:14  And as for what fell among the thorns, these are [the people] who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked and suffocated with the anxieties and cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not ripen (come to maturity and perfection).

Luk 8:15  But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, hold it fast in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience.

Joh 15:2  AMP Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

Joh 15:3  You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].

Joh 15:4  Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.

Joh 15:5  I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

Joh 15:6  If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.

Joh 15:7  If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

Joh 15:8  When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

Perhaps a  person appeared to have received Christ but satan stole the truth of God's word from them before they could learn to trust in Christ fully as their Lord.  Or perhaps it was an emotional decision or they were mislead by the wiles of the evil one, and when trials came they fell away from trusting in Christ and hardened their hearts or became bitter.   They never read their Bibles, having no love for the word, and don't worship God the Father of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving.

God knows and keeps those who are truly His.  They remain attached to the Vine and bear fruit.  Even when a person backslides they continue to call out to Christ to keep them, and He brings them back to Himself and restores them.  Sometimes this is done by pruning, forcing the branch to bear fruit again.  Those who have remained in God's word are already pruned. True believers do not continue to live in and enjoy sinful lifestyles.  They are horribly miserable if they do fall and sin.   A bad tree cannot produce good fruit, and a good tree does not produce bad fruit.

Hi Willa,

See if this works regarding what you are explaining...

You find devout religious people doing the works of Christ. Church member, water baptized, Deacon, Pastor, Priest, who give to the poor (In Christ's name), live holy, and cast out devils', in Christ's name".
They all die.
Upon meeting Jesus HE says..>"Depart from me, i never knew you".

Their Next stop....."Great White Throne Judgement" and God is about to direct them into the Lake of Fire.
These are real people....these are not pretend puppets. They lived lives, had families, grandchildren, loved pets, served in the Military ......gave to the church their time and money.
They are crying, they are begging, sobbing with tears.....GOD NO NO< WHY WHY......why are you sending us to the Lake of fire ????......we even cast out DEVIL's in Jesus's NAME"

God Speaks......Its Jesus talking........Jesus is God.....>He says......"Its because i never knew you".

Translation : Because you were never BORN AGAIN.

= so much for that lifetime of good works....

If you lose your faith then it was not genuine to start with. When a person is a born again Christian they have the Holy Spirit within them. They can not lose it. God knows a person's heart. He knows who is genuine.

Ever thought who it is that holds our faith?

Ever questioned who is powerfull enough to remove our faith from the hand of the one who holds our faith?

Try John 10:28

I have heard tales of young christians with impressionable minds that do produce fruit, professing Christ as Lord and Savior, on fire for God and do believe the bible, go into these universities and come out denying Gods existence and claiming they now believe in evolution and are atheist.   If it were not possible why does the enemy try so hard to make us doubt?  I guess it was just rocky soil to begin with.  the enemy came and snatched that Word right out.

I have also heard tales of a few of them coming back to the truth and being restored in relationship with God.

Something I have noticed is how you are openly teaching that a Christian can lose their faith, go completely back into sin, but they are still saved.  Others who claim to believe in OSAS say they don't teach that and that is a lie made up by those rejecting OSAS to discredit them.  Who is right?  You clearly are at odds with others who say they are OSAS.

      "having a form of godliness"
So. what is this?   What is this AS compared to being saved - born again?
      Its very simple....
a "form of godliness" is religion. All Religion.   All Religion is a "form" of Godliness that isn't actually true Godliness.     And what is the difference between Religion and Christianity?     Well, Religion is man's self effort to touch God or become God.    Whereas Christianity is God coming to Man, as a divine Man,  to take man back home.    Religion is man's self righteous effort to get in touch with God, and Christianity is God on a Cross touching humanity with the Blood of Jesus, the Righteousness of God,  and the Love of God..
Its, "self righteousness", which is Religion.    Look at that phrase..."self righteousness"......"self".."right'.......trying to make "self" "right" with God.......by SELF.   (Legalism)   By works, by lifestyle, by commandment keeping, and worrying about keeping the law to TRY to make "self" = "righteous".
See it?    All Religion is an effort to ither become Divine, or to join Divinity, by SELF RIGHTEOUS EFFORT... = trying to make "self" "right"......= Self-Righteousness. = Religion.
And THAT.......all that is Religion, and it is what 2nd Timothy is defining as "a FORM of Godliness", that "denies the Power of God".
So, what is the Power of God that imparts Godliness?   It IS the only and sole means and method that causes you to become born again.    This is being SAVED.... This is...God giving you HIS very Righteousness, which is the defining idea  you are to comprehend so that you perfectly understand WHAT the Power of God is, exactly and in Truth.
The power of God, is the ability of God to recreate you as a "new creation" "in Christ".  So, this, once applied to you, is not a "form of Godliness", ... Its not self righteous effort .....Its not Religion, and its not something that you can  do for yourself.   Its something that God did for you on a Cross and then offers this Power, this Redemption, this BLOOD ATONEMENT, as a "free Gift", and when you by Faith trust in Christ, God then delivers the literal Power of God thru Christ that recreates you as born again and a "new Creation in Christ".
      To simplify......
"A form of Godliness" is Religion..... is Legalism....is trusting in SELF, instead of trusting totally in CHRIST to save you and keep you saved.
Listen....if you are not trusting in Christ Alone to keep you saved, then you are not really trusting in Christ.    Thats a fact.
Real Godliness is Redemption.   Real Godliness is God making you righteous and keeping you righteous, =  through the Blood of Jesus.
"A form of Godliness" is a person trying to be good enough, live holy enough, or reach high enough by self righteousness, as THEIR RELIGIOUS EFFORT to become one with God, and in doing this they are "denying the real power of God" which is......The Cross and God as Christ on it as total eternal Redemption offered as a free GIFT...= "the GIFT of Righteousness". .  = (Grace).

I see on the news every night how bad things have gotten in this country. Although we live in the greatest nation in the world people are turning their backs to God. If we could just turn back Time  40 years when people prayed and went to church. We said the pledge allegiance at school every morning. Marriage was between a man and a woman only. I can't believe how bad our school system is today where children have to wear backpacks with bulletproof armor. If parents went to church with their children and lived a Christian Life maybe the world would be better that's just my opinion.

There are so many lessons I learned along my journey with God, that I thought I'd share my full testimony in case some parts speak more to some than others.

I was raised in an atheist family (in New Zealand), suffering through bullying within and outside of home. I would have killed myself if not for an online friend - only person who I felt had loved me. I never heard the gospel until I was 21, and would have spent an eternity in hell!  I was seeking my own gain (to network with a singer), when she asked me to meet her at church (in Japan where only 1% are Christian! What are the odds?) I heard the gospel, and moved to tears, without questioning accepted God's gift of salvation. That was 10 years ago.
When I shared the good news with my boyfriend and mum (those who were my greatest support), they quickly talked me out of it. I never gave up seeking the meaning in life, and explored Hare Krishnas and Falun Gong. Believing that truth leads to meaningful life, I questioned inconsistencies I saw there and was met with frightening hostility! I did stay with astrology and one day suddenly became very sick - almost dying of gallstones - something unheard of in a health-conscious female of that age. I didn't know God, but I remember swearing at the unjust  universal powers that be.
Through another coincidence, I befriended a Jehovah's Witness. Oddly he showed me Zeitgeist, while keeping his faith to himself so as not to impose. I didn't find out about his beliefs until years later (after surgery) when I asked him about it. I asked lots of questions and was astounded by the beauty and profundity of the Bible, particularly 1 Corinthians 13. I prayed heartily, had a premonition followed by an audible voice, and this is when I made my full-blown repentance.
At the time, my atheist boyfriend and I were designing a game campaign involving doctrinal differences such as if God is one or Triune, whether to keep the Sabbath etc. I thus looked into these issues before attending a church, and went down a loooong rabbit hole of truth-seeking (on my own!). After about a month of research, I left him after he refused to accept Jesus. I joined a Seventh Day Baptist church (not having had any counsel from experienced Christians) and only escalated into trying to keep ALL the commandments (OT included) from there. Too bad I hadn't come across dispensationalism to realise what applies to whom and when!

I stayed with the family of a little Messianic Judaism cult where we were led by an 'Apostle' and spent days delving into the minutia of headcoverings, beards and the true name of God. Unsurprisingly, there was a lack in areas of submission in families and love between brethren. When I was continually slandered, I brought it up to the sister, then to two witnesses, then congregation and then in her embarrassment she jumped out saying she will "kill me" and threw me out of her house. I had no fear. I had recently quit a job because I couldn't keep the solar-lunar Sabbaths, and the conviction of my heart was that I would be ready to die for the Lord. Instead, I (on my own again) questioned and questioned this and that until my research led me all the way into atheism and I denied our Lord the second time.

I tried to get back with my first boyfriend, but he insisted our relationship be secret and strictly sexual. I turned him down and found myself another humanitarian intellectual. This relationship too was very rocky - we had our fun times but I wanted him to get his act together and make something of himself and he bristled at my controlling behaviour.
      God wasn't done with me yet though, and about 3 years ago I again came around to Christianity after digging around in conspiracies. I was quick to drop all the sin in my life, including fornication, and this angered my boyfriend. He debated me for hours each day, and I was amazed that I was able to pull out strong, logical apologetics out of thin air. Shaken by the strength of my faith, my boyfriend said goodbye to his spirit guide (who came to him suddenly in a meditation long ago), and prayed and fasted for 7 days to 'see God'. Alas, he said he didn't have the experience. The Holy Spirit was working a miracle through me, I thought, until eventually he talked me out of the faith and I denied our Lord for the third time. Ah, the spirit of Peter that I am! ;o;
The Lord did bless our efforts though as my boyfriend ended up dropping a lot of degeneracy, but it was hard for me to trust it being genuine and trust issues continued to rip us apart. Oddly enough, because of the same life goals (homeschooling kids on a homestead and political activism to help liberate people from oppressors), and wanting kids to have stability, we ended up exchanging vows before God. At the time, we were learning about the benefits of following Christian morals and were considering ourselves 'culturally Christian', while keeping many new age practices. We joined an angry political group that wouldn't be at all Biblical, and in the pit of my stomach I felt this was a bad plan...
While my husband's life was improving mine was continuing to slide - my physical and mental health continued despite finding the 'truth' about nutrition and making everythign from scratch, as well as avoiding chemicals.. and of course LOTS of personal development and increasing meditation. Our relationship too was getting worse despite my tips and tricks. We started our family just before I turned 31, and I miscarried in terrible pain 9 weeks later (no drugs taken so as to keep body healthy). This was followed by a terrible self-move to another city after which something major broke down in the house every day and we were biting each other's heads off from the stress. Our kitten died of toxoplasmosis which she should have NEVER gotten or died of (chance is less than .001%), and I was terrified how I might get infected and ruin our future baby - we fought about litter hygiene daily. Our other cat continued to cause problems until we got them a mate and things got worse. I got pregnant again and miscarried the second time. That was the end of the line for me - life was 99% pain and I couldn't take it anymore. I couldn't help myself and no one could help me. In desperation, I cried out for Jesus to save me, telling Him that if this is all a plan to get me back - fine, He can have me!!  That very instant, I was soothed. Somehow I knew everything would be ok from now on, because "everything works for good to those who love God and are called according to His Purpose" Rom 8:28.
My husband and I now suddenly had very opposed political views (and he considered breaking up with me for a while), and I was sharing my faith with the Godless group, but they didn't really care, increasing my feeling of being a useless human being. I didn't tell my dad, since he just gets angry, disappointed and parrots "religion is the opium of the people". I don't believe in hiding God's lamp under a bushel, and I care about souls, so I talk to everyone else in my circle - ALL non-believers, telling them my testimony and sharing the beautiful gospel of Christ as it was finally being revealed to me. I also couldn't help but mention other amazing facts in conversation that made the Bible real. The people closest to me (husband and mum) say they like me better as a Christian, which amazes me. I was never able to improve myself, but my husband says my temperament has changed. To me that's a miracle.

Still, no one seems to have been moved to accept Jesus, but rather with every word and action that proceeds from them, Satan is planting doubts in MY mind. I want to be used by God for great works, but I feel not used at all. I repent and surrender every day, and study, so I don't know what else I can do to be a useful vessel.
      Lessons learned:
      -Online friendship can save lives!
-Killing yourself is a bad idea since something better still awaits you!
-New believers should quickly find Christian support, while not committing to any church or doctrine too hastily
-Please don't hide your faith from the people around you - you never know who needs to hear it!
-If we turn away from God, He being faithful will look for the lost sheep and will either bring it back through love or through chastening. Don't be surprised if you are given up to Satan's torture if that's what it takes for you to stop trusting in idols and repent
-Be very slow to change your beliefs or commit to something for life - be thorough in research, counsel and prayer, especially in weighty matters such as marriage for life and your eternal life!

Paul was STRONG to the finish
Paul had fought a good fight: with demonic powers and principalities. In continual day and night prayer and watching. In the synagogues proclaiming Jesus as the Messianic fulfilment of OT scriptures. With the Judaizers in defense of the gospel: in almost all the churches that Paul had planted the Judaizers had followed him there to spread a form of legalism upon the Christian faith.  He had fought a good fight throughout Asia Minor, Galatia Macedonia Greece Rome by enduring persecution much hardship and sufferings for the sake of the gospel, long years of imprisonments, beatings stoning shipwrecks, when forsaken or disappointed by friends. He had declared the whole counsel of God without compromising the Word in the face of all manner of severe testings. He had contended and fought the good fight of faith against his thorn in the flesh.

He had finished his course. He had completed what God had given him to do. At no point did he lose heart or give up. He remained unflinchingly loyal to his Master and LORD and faithful to the mantle of ministry that God had placed on him. He had diligently pursued the vision and finished the course one step at a time. He considered his life worth nothing to himself if only he could finish the course and the ministry that the LORD Jesus had given him.

He had kept the faith. Paul came to the end of his life with a clear conscience and confident peace before God. What a powerful assurance to have before we leave the earth! Paul has laid hold of the grace offered to him with spiritual violence and single focus and now he is confident that he is able to give to his Lord and master a full measure of fruitfulness that he expected of him.

Very few can have this testimony at the end of their lives
