He preached to the spirits in prison there and led those who were held captive in Abrahams Bosom, the Old Testament saints, He led on high, taking captivity captive; He freed those who had been looking for their Redeemer, the Messiah, in the OT. It is a picture of the way people in the Mediterranean countries led their captives freed in war in a triumphal march through the streets.
