How do you let people know you're a Christian

I do not advertise.
I do not try to convince.

Matt 7; 16 "Ye shall know them by their fruits."
They will know me by my fruits.
Or lack thereof.

I shouldn't have to tell them.

I do not tell people I'm kind.

I do sow seeds

About Jesus.........

The Holy Spirit in my heart cries Abba, Daddy.

 Gal 4:6  And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

Jesus Christ lives in me to love and forgive others.

2Co 13:5  ESV Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

A letter of blessing and such joy!

2 Peter 1:1-11(CJB)

From: Shim‘on Kefa, a slave and emissary of Yeshua the Messiah

To: Those who, through the righteousness of our God and of our Deliverer Yeshua the Messiah, have been given the same kind of trust as ours:

May grace and shalom be yours in full measure, as you come to a full knowledge of God and Yeshua our Lord.

 God’s power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, through our knowing the One who called us to his own glory and goodness. By these he has given us valuable and superlatively great promises, so that through them you might come to share in God’s nature and escape the corruption which evil desires have brought into the world.

For this very reason, try your hardest to furnish your

  • faith with goodness
  • goodness with knowledge
  • knowledge with self-control
  • self-control with perseverance
  • perseverance with godliness
  • godliness with brotherly affection
  • and brotherly affection with love.

For if you have these qualities in abundance, they keep you from being barren and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

Indeed, whoever lacks them is blind, so shortsighted that he forgets that his past sins have been washed away.

Therefore, brothers, try even harder to make your being called and chosen a certainty. For if you keep doing this, you will never stumble.

Thus you will be generously supplied with everything you need to enter the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah.

Is it really about telling others and showing others about us?

Or is it about telling and showing others about Christ.

Surely, if we live as Christ said to live, the telling and showing - which we pray lead to bringing them to the Christ - will be successful

I don't think it's "look at me" and my belief system.  I think it's "look at Christ."

Then in comparison I recall the builders informing Mosheh that the community fellowship offering was overwhelming.

No One held back that fateful day.

Except perhaps korach and a few goats hair head of hair that fell and was devoured by the earth.

They took over from Moses all the gifts that the Israelites had brought, to carry out the tasks connected with the service of the sanctuary. But when these continued to bring freewill offerings to him morning after morning,

all the artisans who were engaged in the tasks of the sanctuary came, each from the task upon which he was engaged,

and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than is needed for the tasks entailed in the work that the LORD has commanded to be done.”

Moses thereupon had this proclamation made throughout the camp: “Let no man or woman make further effort toward gifts for the sanctuary!” So the people stopped bringing:

their efforts had been more than enough for all the tasks to be done. Exodus 36:3-7 Tanakh

``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
“Speak to the community and say: Withdraw from about the abodes of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.”
Moses rose and went to Dathan and Abiram, the elders of Israel following him.
He addressed the community, saying, “Move away from the tents of these wicked men and touch nothing that belongs to them, lest you be wiped out for all their sins.”
So they withdrew from about the abodes of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Now Dathan and Abiram had come out and they stood at the entrance of their tents, with their wives, their children, and their little ones.
And Moses said, “By this you shall know that it was the LORD who sent me to do all these things; that they are not of my own devising:
if these men die as all men do, if their lot be the common fate of all mankind, it was not the LORD who sent me.
But if the LORD brings about something unheard-of, so that the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, you shall know that these men have spurned the LORD.
Scarcely had he finished speaking all these words when the ground under them burst asunder,
and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households, all Korah’s people and all their possessions.
They went down alive into Sheol, with all that belonged to them; the earth closed over them and they vanished from the midst of the congregation. Numbers 16:23-33 Tanakh
