John 1:1-3 John 1:14b / Hebrews 1:5 / Hebrews 10:5 God the Father is the creator of the body of Jesus (who God the Word became John 1:14). God the Word is the lone creator in the beginning (Isaiah 44:24 / John 1:1-3 / Colossians 1:13-16 / Hebrews 1:2). The God that Adam is the son of in Luke 3:38 is God the Word. Jesus is the ONLY Son of God the Father (John 1:14b, John 3:16 etc.). Jesus is Lord of Creation. He submits to God the Father.

Heavenly beings are clearly described as bene elohim (sons of God), Adam was formed the son of God. We who are born again have the potential to walk in the totality of what it means to be a son of God. There IS something unique about Jesus ....but it's technically found in that Jesus is the only BEGOTTON Son of God. He is the only Son, born of a woman. Adam was formed of the dust. Everyone who has been born since Adam is not BORN a son of God. The fall made that impossible. We are born into the kingdom of darkness. Our sonship is by adoption, not "begetting". I'll leave it to individuals to search out why such a subtle sounding distinction is really very fundamental to understanding His whole plan and purpose for the "restoration of all things". Edit to add: Scripture is full of a strange mixture of "already....but not yet" truth. Getting our heads around how that works is something I believe requires revelation knowledge, and He's the only one that can provide that. He is Lord of all Creation. Already. Quote Heb 2:8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. What IS "already" established, legally certain, is "not yet" seen. but will be.... He received a death blow to the head when Jesus bruised his head by dying on the cross and arising from the dead. Jesus will again be in control during the Millennium. And He shall reign forever and ever.
