Moving, sorry - That is not stated and also that contradicts the rest of Scripture. A circuit moves in a circle. Chuwg means: circle, compass, circuit. The word in the Septuagint used in Isa.40:22 is gyron...or just otherwise known as gyros. This Greek word can be simply defined as round and rotation. Hence gyros and chuwg carry the same meaning. Both words mean globe and both words mean rotation. The Latin word in the Vulgate is gyrum (aka, gyrus) and this word carries the same meaning as the Greek and Hebrew. The important thing to remember is that Isaiah IS NOT describing a circle, nor is he describing a circuit or a compass. Isaiah is describing a chuwg and we use three English words to describe what a chuwg is. And circuit is one of those words. A circuit moves in a circle. So does the earth. Unfortunately, to prove the true format of the Earth scientifically, it is necessary much money and technology (only the Worldwide Elite has such money). So, we need to walk by faith in Jesus and His Holy Scripture, and not by sight (1Cor 5:7).

I don't believe in this. Heliocentrism only started with Nicolaus Copernicus in 1.541. Until then, all civilizations believed that the Earth is flat. However, even if the first Christians believed in this, we ought to follow Paul's advice: Rom 3:4 -> "By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.”".

Earth is defined, only in English, as such. The Hebrew word, 'eretz' does not refer to the globe or non-globe, worldwide environment-- it just means a region, territory, or, sometimes, an open field. English translations, in their ignorance inserted a word that completely altered our entire understanding of history and prophecy. Any bible version created from the Masoretic text or subsequent mss have major issues with altered geneologies and missing miracles quoted by Jesus, about Jesus, that older, more reliable texts have preserved. I strongly believe, only as of recently, that any argument regarding most English versions of the Bible, is moot. If God was as concerned about accurate word-for-word translation, He wouldn't have spoken so often in metaphor. Imagine a delegate from each of Christianity's denominations are all standing outside of a room... One says, "we should enter through that door." Another says, "that's not a door, it's a gate." Still another, "it's neither- it's a portal." And the truth of the matter is, it's a door, but the guy who knows that it's a door is satisfied debating the door and never reaching for the door knob. The room is our unity with God. Edited August 13, 2022 by Philologos typo

One post explicitly stated that there are only two good protestant denominations, Lutherans and Anglicans. I have been to a Catholic Bookstore, and they have LOTS of Luther's teaching there. The Catholic Church did not reject his teaching, it was open for discussion. They just banned his teaching from the common, uneducated masses until they had more time to review what he said. Revelation clearly shows us that there were 7 churches then and there are still seven churches today.
